Are You a Fake and Camo Christian

We live in the deep woods and when it is the correct time of year (fall/winter) and we need meat for our freezer, I have had the blessing to walk out into my back woods and attempt to harvest a deer to provide food for our home. Before I was born again in Christ I used to spend lots of time looking for HUGE antlers but today all I desire is some healthy meat. (Hunting hobbies can become an idol but that is another topic for another day.) God's creation is so amazing and I really enjoy going into it for some relaxation and recharging. No sooner do I get out there in the wild when I realize that I am a total alien in it as I just do not fit in! You see the birds, squirrels and deer all have nature colors, feathers and coats that allows them to blend right into their natural surroundings and hide when needed. Their Creator provided for them in this manner but we humans are not like animals in that way.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible
Colossians  1:16

We are created in God's image and we are above and separate from the many creatures that roam the woods. In order to fit in I must put on some special clothing (camo) that looks like trees and leaves so I too will blend right in. Then I can hopefully get close enough to take the game for food, in their environment. When in the woods with my camo on, I fake out the animals as I look and act like a tree (covered with leaf patterns and sitting very still) but minutes later when back at home I am again a regular looking human being in my natural surroundings of our homestead. I go through a "total change of appearance and action" process just to fit into my current surroundings but it is ALL fake and put on for a short time.

I have explained that in detail so I can ask this important question: are you in ALL truth or are you really a fake camo Christian?

Jesus said to worship in spirit and truth
John 4:24

Some may think that this "fake camo technique" is ONLY used for hunting situations but that is not true at all. When I was a false convert sitting in the pews of man made denominational religion, I used a different type of fake spiritual camo to match my surroundings.While I claimed a real faith in God, I was really a worldly carnal minded man bent on enjoying the things of the fallen world (entertainment/stuff) as I was living life for myself most days. But when Sunday services rolled around oh I changed and went into a fake changing process just to fit in! At that time, I would put on my best decent modest clothes, my best talk/behavior and I would go to a religious building (with others that I later learned where doing the exact same fake camo things) to perform and fit into a so called worship service put on from 10:30 to 12:00 each week.


Jesus said;
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Matthew 15:8-9 

Sitting there for that small allotted time controlled by fake seminary trained men, I gave the Lord all kinds of attention with my arms lifted up, best actions and some joyful singing. This was all motivated by my need to fit in, fool others (NOT by true conversion) love, dedication or my everyday life lived for Jesus Christ as my King. I was good at it and I was able to fool others as I fit right in to that fake environment. It was done by how I talked, looked, carrying my bible and doing fake emotional ritual things. This was all spurred on by instrumental music, hyped up sermons, peer pressure, ritual spiritual traditions and the "man created" atmosphere I sat in weekly. I was idle in the pews and quite idle in my daily faith life as well and most around me where just like me as I knew them well.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3


As soon as I left that "so called" place of worship (that is a lie by the way, as everyday lived is the ONLY biblical worship God desires) I slipped back into my normal worldly life of sports pursuits, idolatrous hobbies, team logo clothing, my carnal mindedness and my desire for more entertainment / material things. It was whatever tickled my flesh on a daily basis really. But on Sunday I was acting holy and the fake spiritual camo was ready for action every time or else I would not fit in. I was a fleshly fake and camo Christian and this is the most common fruit of the unbiblical denominational/evangelical systems on every corner in America today! They are places of flesh tickling, vain ways and great biblical error.


So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8:8

What we find most disturbing is this fact. Not one person or leader/modern pastor in ANY denominational body we ever attended ever saw through us, called us out, taught us about deeper daily holiness, obedience, a true biblical gospel, the true New Testament church ways or cared enough to get close to our lives to see how fake we really were. The truth is through our biblical testing, we have learned that most all of the modern pastors then and today are the masters at being fakes themselves so how could they see our fake ways as sinful? When you allow man to build a system (denominations) to gather people to it, it then becomes a false one to please them; not call them to holiness and obedience.

 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 Timothy 4

Please know that the entire man made system of building centered denominational/evangelical Sunday worship is all about fake and false ways. Man's ways do not grow true believers at all but false compromised converts. God's Word warns of this!

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  Colossians 2:8

This is really how they fill up the pews with just anyone who will sit there each week (goats not true believers/sheep) and build ever bigger structures/complexes via more donations and false unbiblical tithes that waste resources where God never ordained them to be spent. We speak out as we care about you and the Lord's truth! It is sinful to be a weekly fake and camo Christian. Man's vain ways do not help to change all these false convert Christians into true redeemed biblical believers who then live every day for the Lord as a living sacrifice and not just a fake church goer. Are you guilty of the same things that we were doing back then? No one ever called us out but we want to do that for you here in godly love.

Staying in error is NOT an option for God's true people because His Word warns against practicing lies in Revelation 22:14-15. (It gets you put out of heaven!)

Man made religion today tells you to go to a religious building, act your best, dress your best, be emotional as a sign your spiritual, drop some money in a plate, do a timed out worship service then you have satisfied a Holy God. This is a lie from hell and true born again believers want much MORE than that. Do you want more? Jesus warned many will be turned away by Him as they are fake believers. (see Matt 7:21)

What does God's Word tell us about His true people and how they are to live for their real worship to the Lord?

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:1-2

We are called to be living sacrifices so if you're alive Monday-Saturday you need to be focused on the Lord in holiness and obedience as well if you are really His. (Man made ritual religion trains you to GO to worship Sunday and not to BE and worship daily!)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
2 Corinthians 10:5

Are you taking every thought captive for Christ when you;re not in a ritual religious services that you are ritually  trained to repeat every week (which is not in truth) so they are indeed vain? If you're worldly minded (entertainment/media/sports etc) you cannot take every thought captive for the Lord can you?


Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. The Living Stone. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 2:1-5

Peter tells us to leave all hypocrisy but isn't being a fake and camo Christian a walking hypocrite?

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
1 Peter 2:9-12

Peter also reminds us that those truly born in Christ are a holy (set apart) royal priesthood and are living stones of the Living God who avoid worldly lusts because we have new life/mercy. How does your fake camo Christianity help you live that out daily or are you failing at it miserably?  Man made Sunday religion cannot get you in line with Gods Word and ways.

There is hope!

The real issue at hand is not that you should now put on "daily" fake camo to act more like a follower of Christ all the time. That would be just as bad as being a weekly pew sitter and living a carnal life on the side. You may be a false convert (just like we were) and what you really need is genuine regeneration in Jesus Christ through faith repentance that leads to holiness and obedience in your daily life as fruit. (See 1 Peter 1:15) Some will say to us 'but we are not like that, we love God and we live out our religious faith life all week long'. (Some are very religious every day and still not redeemed.) We would acknowledge your efforts in those attempts but the greater question must be asked; why are you still practicing error and lies of man made denominational religion when God calls His true saints OUT of ALL falsehood? Have you not studied the true New Testament church model and tried to model it? Have you settled for mans ways not God's? Do you know the bible teaches you to strive in greater holiness and obedience as compared to what man made religion teaches or takes you to? Are you like most people and just satisfied to hear a practiced 20-40 minute sermon, sing some emotional songs then you're back out in the world again unchanged till the next staged religious service is put on for you to sit idle and watch in your fake camo ways?
That cannot lead to eternal life at all! A genuine saving faith will NOT leave you in false religion just like a true godly marriage wont lead you to or let you stay in a adulterous lifestyle!

We would encourage you to do two very important things to remedy this sad situation you face today:

The life of a true follower of Christ is not about fake camo religious ways on Sunday or ritual religion. It is also not about conforming to man's false systems weekly. It is ALL about being obedient to Christ and His Word. It is about keeping His ways (see the New Testamant church model) to gain the narrow path to eternal life that He alone has made possible for us.

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
Hebrews 5:9 (It says those who obey Him not those who just put on a good Sunday act in many errors!)

Please understand.....your man made denominational religion today is all about pleasing man's flesh and God's Word warns against this over and over!
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
 Romans 13;14

Are you in the fake camo flesh each Sunday or are you walking in His truth daily?

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Galatians 3:27

What are you putting on each week? Fake spiritual camo to please yourself, a vain system and others? 

Or are you really born in Him and putting on Christ (worshiping Him) every single day in acts of holiness and total obedience for His glory, then eternal life to come? Camo indeed works well in the woods and it can fool animals but do not be deceived.  God is not mocked (Galatians 6) or fooled by anyone's spiritual fake camo ways. Reject religious error, repent of ALL false ways and be made new will you?

Test yourself today see if your even in the faith (see 2 Corinthians 13:5) lest you be disqualified!
