Eric Schmeltelkopf and His Email Refuted

One of Highland Baptist "carnal pastors" who harassed me as I peacefully preached on a public sidewalk outside their building.

The following is two emails I got from one of their Bible study men  (Eric Schmeltekopf) that has the usual Baptist false montra's. I promised him I would answer it line by line and add it to his churches testing. He gladly agreed to this process using his email as this screen capture shows...

I tested Eric ahead of time and learned he loves the things of the world by his fruit.

I could see by Eric's FB page he is into worldliness with occult Disney visits , carnal sports with his children, vile entertainment/sports like Dallas Cowboys and Viva Las Vegas Eagles rock shows. No, it's not of God folks as we are called to come out of the world Romans 12. ​

Note: 
I originally had some pictures on this testing from Erics FB page as proof used legally under Fair Use Act. He knew this as I have a email to him stating they were Fair Use Act for testing NOT a copyright violation. Eric still went and filed a copy right claim against me just the same. Fact: the law clearly states if you knowingly lie on a claim (its called perjury) on a copy right complaint knowing its not copy right infringement you can be guilty of hefty fines and such. This is how wicked men are to hide in their ways. I removed the pictures as I am a peaceful man. Lawyers have confirmed to me it was legal to use them under Fair Use Act and it is a crime to lie about copyright complaints that are fraudulent. You can just go to his FB page to see his worldliness plain as day (posts. pictures and likes) unless he deleted it all but I myself and others witnessed it all there. The following bad theology of his email is what really exposes him. 

​Fact: after I sent this line by line refuting; Eric did NOT give biblical answer back but complained about the pictures and me not allowing comments. That happens often as truth is not on their Baptist side. 

*** Also the testing was sent to John Durham their hireling pastor and all their leadership (like 20 people) and NOT one gave an answer.  
As you read it below and see his seemingly nice demeanor, realize he is coming to butcher God's Word with fair speech. Scripture says even satans ministers come in righteousness (satan as a angel of light) Paul said so test for truth and not just a deceiving pleasant tone.

Dear Brother James and Sister Deb,
****He calls us brother and sister which highlights a main key point. I see no indication they are indeed our holy brethren but in fact they are of man made Baptist ways and friends of the world this God's enemy per James 4:4 and 1 John 2;15.


Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I hope you both had a pleasant experience on your recent visit to Waco. I start this letter with Paul's greeting to the churches he wrote to with the hopes that you will receive it as a message of peace. I heard you speaking some yesterday and I’ve read your comments about Highland Baptist Church and wanted to reach out—not in anger or argument, but as a brother in Christ who believes truth and love are never at odds. 

****It wasn't pleasant rebuking your goat farm thru all the sin harlotry, compromise and haughtiness but it has to be done as you /HBC are not getting it done are you? Again he adds in that they are brothers but scripture says true saints / sheep are holy 1 Peter 1:15 not of the world John 17 and they keep God's commands John 14:15 not man made ways Mark 7:6-9 but as you can see HBC and Eric keep man made religion and practice much worldliness. Paul says let all who name Christ depart from iniquity but they do not. They haven't done that so no reason to think they are my brethren. Paul warned in the last days false converts will rise up and abound. 2 Tim 3 and 4  


As Paul taught Timothy, we are to “correct with gentleness” those who may be led astray—not to win an argument, but so that God “may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 2:25). I’m writing to you in that spirit. After hearing you speak and looking over your website, there are some topics I wanted to offer a different perspective on for your consideration.

******Again Paul's words of gentleness and correction are for the true brethren who are humble to God's Word and that isn't HBC. They are haughty, proud and in their sins / worldliness as we saw that day. Jesus called religious false teachers hypocrites 8 times in Matt 23 and , John the Baptist calls false religious men VIPERS in Matt 3, Paul told false men to cut off their testicles in Gal 5:12. If Eric and HBC want to be treated with gentleness as true saints, I suggest they repent of their rebellion and heresy to then get it. Paul said warn a heretic twice then reject them Titus 3;10 / Jesus said if those claiming Him wont repent of sin throw them OUT of the body. Matt 18 / What part of getting a rebuke 1 Tim 5:20 vs coddling you in your sin don't you get Eric? 


On Christian Liberty and the Celebration of Days
Your concern about churches observing holidays struck me. You’ve described these practices as “pagan” and “worldly,” but Paul addressed this exact issue in Romans 14:


“One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind… Who are you to pass judgment on someone else’s servant?” (vv. 5, 4)
Paul’s teaching here is clear: believers are going to disagree on disputable matters, but where Scripture allows liberty, we should not make personal convictions into universal laws. It’s the same mistake the Galatians made—adding extra burdens to the gospel. Paul was emphatic: “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free… Do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery” (Gal. 5:1).


**** Eric pulls the usual novice Romans 14 liberty cry when they are exposed for their Roman Catholic whore system false holidays like Christmass, Easter and good Friday that are all lies. Rev 22 says a lie gets you tossed out of heaven. Paul in context is talking about the Sabbath that God ordained or not keeping the Sabbath. The context has NOTHING to do with false pagan ways that God's people would NEVER take part in. Jesus says you worship in vain for keeping man made ways in Matt 15 but these Baptists ignore the Saviors words. See my teaching page for a teaching on this.    


On the Church Being “Open to All”
You wrote that “The TRUE NT body is not open for just anyone to walk in...man-made Sunday church has made it open to all and this is sinful, unbiblical and dangerous.” This implies that only those who are already believers and followers of Christ are to be welcomed at worship gatherings. I say this plainly but respectfully: Scripture does not agree with that statement.


**** Eric clearly hasn't read Eph 4 as the purpose of the body is to edify and perfect the saints for the work ministry. If you aren't a saint you aren't even in the body, period. They just do ritual entertainment shows on Sunday. You must by faith in Christ repent of all sin, to be born again, to obey in holiness and endure to the end. They just entertain HBC goats not training up true sheep. 


Jesus came to call sinners—not the righteous—to repentance (Luke 5:32). He said, “Whoever comes to me I will never cast out” (John 6:37). If the gospel is open to all, then the church must be too.


**** Of course Jesus came for the lost but the NT body was for those who submitted to Christ and obeyed Him. Acts 2 says God added to the body as He saw fit. Today churchianity uses their buildings, music, programs, youth clubs and even gyms/sports as a evangelism tool but in the NT they went out and preached the gospel, then those who repented were added in. The NT body is NOT a place to sample  Jesus but join it after losing your life for Him. Matt 10:39   


Paul welcomed Gentiles, pagans, idolaters, anyone willing to hear the message of Christ. He even expected unbelievers to be present in the church gathering:
“If an unbeliever or inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying… they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, ‘God is really among you!’” (1 Cor. 14:24–25)  This wasn’t “sinful” or “dangerous.” It was evangelism and grace.


***** of course an unbeliever "could walk in" as many Jews were seeking in those days. But it was NOT the disciples way to invite the lost world into the church gatherings anymore then you invite a stranger into your bedroom. Biblical evangelism is going out into the highways and hedges Mark 16:15 not being like the world to invite them in for a fake jesus and easy believe gospel like HBC does. 


As for worshiping on Sunday, that’s not “man-made.” The early church gathered on the first day of the week to break bread and give offerings (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 16:2). It’s not commanded, but it’s not condemned either—it’s a practice born out of love for the risen Christ.


***** Just because the saints gathered a few times on the first day of the week, does not make it the Lords day. Eric and HBC are void of the fact that the Roman Catholic whore church really started Sunday as the Lords day. It is not in scripture anywhere as it is a lie! Again Paul said keep the traditions he handed down. 2 Thess 2:15 You can gather on Sunday,  but do NOT call it the new Sabbath or the Lords day as it is not! That is heresy plain and simple. Notice he says the Risen Christ. They also teach Jesus rose Sunday but He did not. He was in the grave 3 days and 3 nights and in truth He died Wed and rose on Sat as our Sabbath rest. On Women’s Clothing, Appearance, and Cultural Judgment
You claim that Christian women should not wear pants or makeup, and more broadly that much of modern culture—including dress, sports, and entertainment—is unbiblical or “worldly.” I want to speak to both the tone and substance of these teachings.
I understand the desire for holiness and separation from the world. That’s a good instinct. But we must be careful not to take biblical principles—like modesty or sobriety—and turn them into legalistic prescriptions that go beyond what Scripture says.


**** this is the pot calling the kettle black. It is HBC that practices all these man made ways and then when they get rebuked they say, don't keep man made ways. Jesus in Matt 23 says they are rank HYPOCRITES! I teach and preach only what the Word teaches. It teaches clearly on biblical dress for men and women Gen 3:21 (robes and tunics) and to NOT be of the world. Romans 12 


Paul addresses women’s appearance in 1 Timothy 2:9–10, calling for modesty and decency. But his focus is on character, not cosmetics:
“I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves… not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds…”
This isn’t a ban on pants, makeup, or jewelry. It’s a warning against vanity and pride—just as relevant to men as it is to women. When a woman dresses with humility and godliness, whether she wears a skirt or pants, makeup or none, the issue is the heart.


**** Eric is a terrible bible student, NOT a Berean Acts 17. Modesty is NOT even a Bible word. In 1 Tim 2:9 the Greek says... neat and orderly robes. And 1 Peter 3 says do not adorn. Ask yourself when a man or woman wears make up, tight clothing and jewelry what are they trying to do? Draw attention to themselves and that is PRIDE. Prov 6 says its a abomination to God. He is right though, it applies to men too. We saw men their with earrings and church workers in tight skinny pants showing off every curve. Does any Baptist really think that is godly and holy? Please! God shed blood in Gen 3 and covered us all in loose clothing as sin coverings. These Baptist heretics allow clothing as a harlot fashion statement as we saw that day. Mini skirts, hooker boots and more that shows their wicked dark hearts, not made new by the spirit in purity and holiness. 




Colossians 2 offers a sobering reminder for us all:
“Why do you submit to rules—‘Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch’? These are human commands and teachings. Such regulations have an appearance of wisdom… but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.” (vv. 20–23)


**** more Baptist scripture twisting in in great perversion 2 Peter 3:16 by Eric.  Col 2 is also; all about the Jewish ways God ordained vs the gentiles not being bound by Torah law. It has NOTHING to do with the context of godly clothing.


And again in Romans 14, Paul teaches that personal convictions about food, days, or practices should never be used to divide the body or pass judgment. He says: "Let us not pass judgment on one another any longer… Therefore let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.”(Romans 14:13,19)


*** He keeps twisting scripture Romans 14 to his demise. The truth is not in these heretic false men as they are drunk on man made dogma NOT sound doctrines that saves us. 1 Tim 4:16 / see my teachings on Romans 14 scripture twisters on my teaching page.


Our culture certainly needs discernment. But we also need humility. What’s considered modest or respectful varies by time, place, and context. If we reduce righteousness to a dress code or a list of disallowed activities, we risk losing sight of the gospel itself.


**** No, Eric! The gospel (Christs perfect work, repent of all sin, to new life, to holy obedience and endurance ) is the foundation for all that we do including holiness as in actions, deeds, lifestyle and godly clothing after all, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor 6 


Christ didn’t die to create a more conservative version of Phariseeism. He died to set us free into Spirit-led holiness—where love, not law, is our guide.


**** That is Torah law we are set free from NOT the NT law of Christ. Gal 6:2. All of these commands like dress clothing teachings are either pre Torah that we still keep or NT commands. 1 Cor 11 head covering, 1 Tim 2:9 / Gen 3:21 / 1 Peter 3:15 on dress    


On “Man-Made Religion” and the True Church
You’ve referred to Highland—and many other local churches—as “man-made religion” and implied that only your model of fellowship reflects the “true New Testament body.” 


**** Eric out right lies here as I never say MY ways are right. I teach the NT ways that churchianity today is greatly lacking at.  


I understand your concern about religious traditions overtaking Scripture, and I share that caution. 


**** No he doesn't have caution here as he practices false man made ways every week at HBC. This is just more lip service but it is false faith. Mark 7:6-9


But I also believe we need to be careful not to reject every form of structured church simply because it doesn’t look like what we picture the first-century gatherings to be.


**** The truth is what I call out in churchianity is what goes directly AGAINST God's word. Added holidays, million dollar buildings, hireling pastors, foolish youth clubs, Sunday as the Lords day, worldliness, feminization etc etc.  Today's churchianity looks NOTHING like the true holy NT body in the first century. Go look at my 24 points about the first century NT body loaded with verses vs todays carnal goats farms like HBC that I posted here for you. 


Jesus Himself said, “I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). The church is His idea. While it may take different cultural forms over time, the essence is the same: a body of believers, united in Christ, led by godly shepherds, submitted to the Word, and proclaiming the gospel.


**** Here I agree that Jesus started His body but HBC and the churches in America are NOT His holy people by their fruit. Matt 7 Jesus said you know them by their fruit and the fruit of Eric and HBC is rotten. I tested Erics pastor (he teaches much heresy and he loves violent Hollywood movies like Gladiator)  and  I tested Eric too. In truth; this worldly man attends occult Disney land and carnal Eagles music rock concerts as the pics prove. You cant be of Christ and satans kingdom. 2 Cor 4;4


Paul planted churches. He appointed elders. He praised believers for gathering together “as a church” (1 Corinthians 11:18). The structure isn’t the problem—legalism, hypocrisy, or worldliness can be. But we must not confuse abuses of the church with the church itself.


***** Wrong, Paul did not plant churches; that is a false man made idea. He preached the gospel and God added to His body then bodies gathered. Acts 2:47 / I have a teaching on that as well.


On Your “Biblical Test” for True Churches
​I also noticed your “10-point biblical test” for churches. I appreciate your desire for doctrinal fidelity, but I’d caution against turning that kind of list into a new law or standard for fellowship. Scripture certainly gives clear qualifications for elders/deacons, for worship, and for personal holiness—but it doesn’t give a numbered checklist by which all local churches must be judged.


**** Eric is so wrong as we DO indeed have a list of over 1000 commands in the NT word to follow for His body ways that we will be judged by. Jesus said; if you love me obey me John 14;15 and He said teaching them to obey everything He commanded Matt 28:20 / Paul says sound doctrine saves us. 1 Tim 4:16  


What’s more, when we apply extra-biblical tests as a condition of fellowship, we risk doing exactly what the Pharisees did—“teaching as doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:9). Let’s let the Word be our guide, but let’s also walk with grace, remembering that churches—like people—are always growing in maturity and truth.


**** Major hypocrisy here by Eric. He accuses me/us of the very things they do weekly. We oppose and reject all man made ways in our life, our preaching and all over our website for His glory but they keep and practice MANY false man made ways including their name ...BAPTIST. Luke 12:1 ..that was the sin of Pharisees ... hypocrisy... so repent Eric and HBC lest you will perish.


On Tone and the Spirit of CorrectionLastly, I want to speak gently but directly about the tone of your writing and videos. Much of what you say comes across not as concern, but as condemnation. 


**** I am told to expose evil Eph 5 and to publically expose those in sin who claim God like his spiritual pervert pastor John Durham. 1 Tim 5:20 / We went there for a rebuke and to call them to repent or they will perish, not to woo them with cookies and fair speech. We loved them all way more them they love themselves in their ignoring sin and worldliness. 


You frequently refer to others as deceived, false, or apostate. 


*****That is because you and HBC are that as is churchianity. Prov 9:8 says a wise man loves a good rebuke but a fool hates it. Which one is Eric and HBC?


While your intent may be to warn—I fear instead you are only wounding. 


**** If the truth and being called out of your sin, worldliness and false doctrine wounds you as a so called saint Eric, you must have never read Heb 4:12. Does a double edged sword cut.... or tickle?  


When you call out a young woman for wearing "hooker boots" there is no love or kindness behind your words.

**** Fact: your church going "older woman" not young... did have on hooker boots as this picture clearly shows. Sorry I was the only man there brave enough to call it out. Can you call this godly and holy in ANY way Eric? And her son wanted to beat me up for my calling them out. When the Prophets called out harlotry in Israel; was that loving? How about Jesus calling them hypocrites Matt 23 and John the Baptist called them vipers Matt 3 / was that loving Eric? I say it was loving as Jesus even says He rebukes them He loves. Rev 3;19 / You folks have itchy ears for just fair speech and feigned words (from worldly heretic John Durham) but hard Bible truth upsets you? Paul would say get off the milk, stop sucking at the tit and get on the MEAT man!


Instead they come across only as hateful. 


*** If a rebuke and Bible truth/doctrine and holiness is hateful to you and HBC, you are satans children per Jesus in John 8:44


If you truly want to bring people to Christ and share the gospel with them, this approach will not prove fruitful. 


**** You all claim the gospel Eric? (though you have a false one) I came there to expose HBC for what you all are and your email is proving it. A house of goats, false converts, undiscerning men lacking Gods fruit and really just satan's worldly synagogue. 


When the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery before Jesus, He first showed her protection, grace, and kindness, not condemnation. It was only then that he called her to "sin no more." (John 8:1-11) 


**** Bad context Eric ...less time at Disney and rocks concerts more time in the Word! That woman was NOT in the NT body like you and I claim to be with the spirit in us. She was a lost worldly woman. I preach the gospel to the lost but I hold those claim Jesus but trample His truth, they get a stern rebuke. Paul says to REBUKE!!!! 2 Tim 4:2  


Paul told the Corinthians:
“I wrote to you out of much affliction and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to cause you pain but to let you know the abundant love I have for you.” (2 Corinthians 2:4)Even in correction, Paul showed deep relational concern and affection. He didn’t just speak truth—he spoke it in love (Ephesians 4:15).


*** Again bad context! That was the true NT body and its people that indeed had some flesh to deal with but; the Corinth body makes your HBC worldly heretic body look pathetic sir. Wake up Eric! News flash..you/HBC are NOT the holy biblical body of Christ so stop imposing His ways on you. You are part of the great falling away and the people who hate sound doctrine in the last days. 2 Tim 3 and 4 


Brother, if we want people to hear the truth, we need to show them the heart of Christ. He didn’t avoid hard words—but He always led with compassion.


**** You are not my brother Eric  as shown by your fruit! And compassion is doing a testing of HBC, coming there telling you all to repent, sending it to the staff and spending time here on a email to help you repent or His wrath is coming for you as; you don't obey the gospel. 2 Thess 1:7-9 / You clearly don't understand godly biblical love vs fleshly lets all just getting along and over look sin love. 


In ClosingJames and Deb, I’m praying for you and for all of us, that we’d be people who love the truth--

Let’s remember that the true gospel frees us—not just from sin, but from the endless cycle of man-made rules and self-righteousness.


*** I do not teach ANY made made rules...you and HBC do! You are only free from sin you face, repent of and stop doing. Heb 5:9 says He makes the way for those who obey Him. Baptist theology teaches you get saved "in your sin" Once Saved always saved is a doctrine of demons. See my teaching page on that. Jesus never saved ANY one in sin but He saves us OUT of sin. Heb 10:26 says willful sin removes your covering of Christ and you all are all in willful sin Eric. I feel bad for you as you brought a butter knife here to a gun fight and the Word is slicing you up huh? I want better you yo I do repent Eric and HBC.


 If I have misunderstood or misrepresented any of your viewpoints it was unintentional and I am open to correction on your beliefs.


*** Go test yourself Eric to all the corrections I just gave here in scripture. You are far from truth sir and it will not bring you salvation unless you forsake all your worldliness, sin, heresy and turn to God's full truth as fruit you are His. 


“Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” (Romans 15:7)

**** I would gladly welcome you all if you had the fruit of being my brother/saints but that is not the case here is it as I have proven in scripture and by your perverted twisting of God's truth? Be careful you will get your name removed from the book of life or the plagues added to you by your corrupting His word. Rev 22:18-19

I appreciate your reply and hope that we can have a productive dialogue. It seems as if you have been very quick to judge me as an enemy of God based simply on the fact that I don't model the exact same life choices you do.

I find it interesting that you have chosen the name "Tupos" for yourself. While I agree that scripture absolutely calls us to be examples of Christ to others I would offer a word of caution, even a good example or pattern can become a stumbling block if we mistake our own example for the standard itself (Rom. 12:3). That position belongs to Christ alone.


**** Eric (acts as a fool) speaks of what he doesn't know. 1) God promised us in Revelation new names one day so we took new ones early just to get rid of our carnal earthly names as we were vile people. And I was GIVEN that name; I did not pick it Eric so you speak of what you do not know sir. 


I have no doubt in your faith and devotion to Christ but again, I would point out the words of Jesus when he says that we will be able to distinguish between true and false prophets by their fruit. 


*** Agreed and I can see your rotten fruit and your goat farm HBC's fruit clearly as will anyone else reading this with the spirit.  


I would ask you to look back at your own recordings of your interactions with people outside of Highland and honestly reflect on those exchanges. 


**** I did listen to them all and I do stand on it all. I would rebuke you face to face the same if you ignore truth or push against it. if you are a hearer I would share truth. Didn't see those people on Sundat at HBC? You would NOT have likedJesus or John the Baptist.  I came to tell the truth, preach Christ crucified, boldly warn of all your sins that will damn you and I called out your spiritual perverted pastor John Durham as a coward Rev 21:8...it was loving.  

Do your words convey things like kindness, patience, and gentleness


**** My words and ways were kind in that you will suffer wrath unless you repent. Ezek 33 as a watchman there is no blood on my hands here. And no verses tell me to be patient or gentle with those who claim Jesus but trample His Doctrines in sin/carnality and deceive my neighbors / children in massive heresy and deception. I believe Jesus said you get worst then a mill stone for that ....he was so kind huh Eric? 
 
 or if they are more in line with division, condemnation and harsh judgment? 


*** You really show what a bad Bible student you are Eric. Again less carnal Eagles concerts and more Bible study sir. You and HBC are the divisive ones per Romans 16:17 as you left sound doctrine to follow the Roman Catholic whore making you her daughter. As for condemnation you bring that on yourself per John 3:19-21 as you love sin and darkness vs truth and light. Finally we are to judge. Go read 1 Cor 5 where Paul says PUT THAT MAN IN SIN OUT .... I guess you would have made excuses there to huh? Paul was so mean per you.

I ask this of you not in judgment but in an effort for you to truly evaluate the method of your ministry and the message you are presenting to people. Keep in mind Eph. 4:29.


*****I test myself hard, always so others don't have to catch me in sin or false ways. But I am open to any correction needed but your HBC rejected any correction that day and since. In fact; I noticed you never mentioned your fleshly foolish pastor San Martin getting in my face over and over, blocking the side walk and approaching my wife when I told him to stop many times. He acted as carnal man and you are a partial spiritual pervert...not calling him out ....learning well from John Durham I see.  If I did any of that to any of your people you would call it out as bad fruit.
