Did you know that God has a specific plan and purpose for His true New Testament body? (We are NOT speaking about mainstream/denominational/evangelicalism either.) His Holy Word, the bible, is the revealed truth and instruction to His born from above holy (set apart) people. Man is not allowed to make his own rules and use his own ways in that body. The true Christian church is bought by Christ's blood and so it is His not man's to be toyed with.

Ephesians 4
 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Most people would agree that indeed, in His Eternal Wisdom God "alone" knows what is best and how His body should function and operate for His glory and its own protection. In the first century God called His New Testament body not into man's ways but His Ways. They gathered in homes (not religious buildings) as a protection for itself and to be set apart. There it could function and operate to His Word and be almost invisible to the fallen world around them. He also told them to obey His Word over any government rules that would break His law. So why then does man today always look to change and alter God's instruction/design for his own sinful flawed ways? Our website uses God's Word to expose man made religion and show how man has long ago left the biblical truth to follow vain traditions of man that Jesus Himself warned about in Mark 7. This post will describe one such way modern denominational/evangelical organized religion today has shed the truth/protection of God's Word and gone their own way to the demise of truth into a lack of spiritual freedom then right into bondage. Many people have never considered this false way and how it controls a body vs being obedient to God's Word.

God has always called His true people out of the fallen world and commanded them to not be yoked to unbelievers and to be set apart (Holy) 1 Peter 1:15 in order to be fully committed to Him and His Ways. When they do this they can have freedom (see Israel) but when they rebel against the Lord's Ways, they will become enslaved to sin, their enemies or the rulers of the world. One such way the modern religious places today have denied God's Word and gone their own way is in the area of 501c3 affiliations with the federal government. Most all denominational places or organized religious bodies we know of have sought out the "registering of their religious body" with the US government in exchange for some tax free benefits. This is called a non profit 501c3 organization. What is most telling is that not one law exists that says any religious group "must register" with the government but yet they line up to do it just the same and have just accepted it as a standard process. Since God expects His people to be wise and test all things (1 Thessalonians 5:21) we have looked at this registering and found that it adds nothing to a body but it controls and limits you in several ways. Most people are unaware of how it affects a group of people but it indeed does. You give up certain freedoms in linking to the government for money and here are some of the ways listed below:

*You lose freedom of speech.
*You lose freedom of religion.
*You waive the right to influence legislators and the legislation they craft.
*You waive constitutionally guaranteed rights.
*You are no longer free to speak to the vital issues of the day.
*You become controlled by a fear / toe the line with the IRS it will lose its tax-exempt status.
*You become a State-Church.
*You are basically a corporation of the government

Now many will say "this can't be so, can it"? Many have no clue what their bodies have done in this sell out but the effects are there. No doubt you have heard where religious leaders of bodies cannot say certain things, promote a new law or comment on a political situation as they have in fact been muzzled by their partnership with the pagan government. The so called church of Christ is being controlled by pagan rulers today. These modern pastors/organizations have SOLD their freedom for a few shekels of silver that come in tax breaks. This is another shameful example that they are NOT the true biblical people of God but are in fact hirelings / fake men of God out for gain. 

We would ask how does this compromised ungodly affiliation line up with God's Word that says come out and touch not the unclean (2 Corinthians 6:17) and to not be yoked to unbelievers?

The fact is clearly shown that it does not line up to the Word and ways of His true people and so we cannot consider them His true people but a false religious system. We speak the truth in love in the hopes people will hear this and leave it for God's glory, their own spiritual health and salvation.

The true New Testament body of Christ was designed to flourish in evil Rome 2000 years ago. They met in homes and it grew even as men were killed over Christ. It is still the same today and it is designed to weather the storms of the brutal torture many believers are facing around the globe. And finally in the future; it is designed to overcome the dark world headed into a antichrist one world evil system. It is not striving in the public for tax breaks to erect mega buildings and parking lots. Its elders are not controlled in what they can say or do for money. It is not easily seen at all in its gatherings and thus it is not easily entered, persecuted, controlled or raided. The persecution to come that the Holy Word promised will attack it in the last days of man, no doubt. It must be ready for that and still serve God. The beauty of the Lord's true NT church is that He made it a perfect receptacle for His high purpose and function and man has only served to mess it all up and pervert it as we write about often on our website.  

The Apostles Peter said this when he was told to not speak about Jesus in Acts 5:29
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

If you are attending a religious gathering and you're in a public building with tax breaks via a 501c3 partnership then rest assured your leaders are compromised and being controlled. One great example is recently a lesbian major in Houston was angry about any sermons that talked about homosexuality and so she took legal action to see and edit the sermons before they are given on Sunday. How does she know where they are? They are ALL registered with the government by choice and for money!

These false religious places are sitting duck targets for such radical governmental ways as they are registered with them, working with them, obeying them and following the rules they lay out for them. How can they ever complain? These leaders want the tax breaks to build their man made religious empires (not of God) so they are easy targets of this kind of persecution publicly. I can guarantee you that a small biblical house church meeting in a private home in that same town of Houston could go on as usual with the Lord's work. The men there could preach about anything they felt was needed to be said as they are not sold out to Sodom having been true to God's Word for His New Testament body. The feds would have to come kicking in their private doors to stop them. That day has not come yet though it may well in the future persecution to come. Are you and your religious body living to the Lord's full Word obediently or are you compromised and holding the hand of a ill now ever more antichrist government for a few more dollars?

Jesus said worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24) and He didn't mention  ANY compromise did He?

This is all something for you to consider the next time you're sitting in your mainstream/denominational/evangelical religious public building and pews paid for by tax break 501c3 money and all approved by your so called biblical godly leaders there who un-biblically linked to and are controlled by governmental pagans; all for money.
