But she continued to say we lied and are persecuting them; without proof. She really needs to repent for lying and rebuking a man! Note: Ben was given the chance to refute this testing and I will add it here and I will then answer his claims as a teaching moment for all. No answers to this testing have ever been sent to us to date. *See our original email chain at the end of this post. Note: To be clear; we do not teach divorce is acceptable for holy saints in Christ, unless for fornication. This battle for truth is all about "pre conversion divorce and remarriage" (we had that in our past) and the false claim about marriage permanence....one marriage for life. *Let this testing be a good teaching moment for us all and one that leads to redemption, not their demise on judgement day for trampling the blood of Christ in other peoples godly lives. On to the testing..... There is a novice man (and his wife) in Indiana that I fear may spread heresy on pre conversion divorce and remarriage to others. In love, I need to mark him per Romans 16;17 and warn my neighbor about them. He is like the typical anabaptist type; his pet doctrine is it appears divorce/remarriage, as he ignores the gospel / sins in his own house. History: We recently got emails from his wife (reaching out to my wife) and it led to Benjamin spewing much error on divorce and remarriage then, he went running in the dark. Let me share some facts that told us/we saw, then we will get to the email they sent that is full of error and lies. *they are novices fresh out of the Baptist man made system *they are sinfully united to his parents Mennonite church attending folks when they will not even attend Mennonite places over sin. *he told me the denominations all preach the biblical gospel???? *he also said things like clothing and head covering are NOT important for obedience.... to salvation. *Benjamin had his wife come calling on mine but he was silent and when I reached out to him; he avoided discussing the gospel totally and ONLY cared about divorce/remarriage * neither of them are biblical in various theologies (dress / head covering, music, associations etc) They have not gone very deep in scripture it seems and we wanted to help them in love but we were rejected in unloving fashion. *they shared how they rebuked a family member for various unbiblical ways (lady pastor) but; when we gave them some in love and gentleness input on their own unbiblical ways; they said "side issues" do not matter to salvation and that we were just legalist's. We were kind, loving and wanted to reason in truth together. Benjamin was most immature, unloving, avoided us talking on the phone man to man and he threw much heresy at us. He went to even telling me to PUT AWAY my godly wife because of our pre conversion divorce/remarriage without knowing any of the details of our past life. I have all the emails on file as proof to show as needed. For this testing; let me use the only email they sent us with any scripture and I will refute it line by line: See it below and my words with **** by my words in blue as I give a answer to all their lies and false claims. Note: I sent Benjamin many teaching articles on the gospel divorce/remarriage and he refused to give any answers back until this email. See my refuting their email below in blue. ************************************************** Mr. James, It grieves us to see how hypocritical you can be. You like to nitpick so many people to build your self-esteem. **** Was Jesus nit picky warning about false ways like washing pots and cups in Mark 7 or Paul warning saints about jesting in Eph 5;4 / God killed people over one lie in Acts 5. This is called holiness, rebuking and sound doctrine.... something the Biggs house lacks. It is also sad to see how legalistic you are. **** Novice heretics in sin always call it legalism when you call them to OBEY all He commanded. It is not legalism, it is godly obedience. Jesus said to obey it all. Matt 28:20 I’m sure it also grieves the Holy Spirit how you like to add and twist God‘s holy Word. **** They never proved I did this at all; it is just a lie, slander and adhom attack vs focusing on the truth. How shameful.... You mentioned several times about being a new creation how old things have passed away. It is sad to see how you like to justify your sin by taking old testament scripture. ****Folks the last time I checked; 2 Cor 5:17 and the NEW creation.. ALL things are made NEW verse in is the NEW Testament. Please see how they need to study better to rightly divide for truth and even knowing the OT vs the NEW. We as Christians are no longer living in the old testament, we are living in the New Testament period. **** No one said we live by Torah today. I only used the OLD and the NEW scriptures to show marriage permanence is a lie per God's own ways. See the link below that gives many proofs of this claim. Divorce is allowed in the OLD and NEW.... in some cases. To try to justify your adulteress relationship, only God knows the specifics, you pick verses that are “convenient “to your shameful position. **** This is a lie as I do not justify myself as Christ washed us clean from our old life before we served Him. To deny this makes them blood tramplers, how wicked! And I love the Word and I often use all verses that are related to this topic so I can refute all their false heretical verse twisting as you will see. You have said that I do not give scripture to back me up. All the following verses come from God‘s word, if you do not like something that is said, you will have to take that up with God. **** In all the emails I had with Benjamin; this is the ONLY email that had ANY verses. Maybe his wife sent this one; I do not know for sure? Again I love God's Word and rightly divided, it shows the truth/way. These novices do not know how to rightly divide for truth. Here is a verse for you nitpicking everyone else’s faults, when you have many of your own to address first. Matthew chapter 7 verse 5 says “thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eyes; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brothers eye. “ **** I will repent of any sin I am shown but you have not shown me my sin other then your corrupt anabaptist divorce theology. If we are not to point out faults; then why are they pointing out my so called faults in many emails? Hypocrites they are it seems as they say this and go do that. 1 Tim 5 says to rebuke those in sin publically. They are in sin so; it needs a rebuke online as they lurk there. They came to us remember? It would do you good to tend to your own spiritual life for you seem to be lacking thereof. Picking on others and saying every little thing they do is sinful, shows just how more sinful you are. **** I do test myself daily in the Word. They did not show one single thing I ever said about other men in ministry is NOT true? More lies and adhom attacks from novices as it is usually all they have. They are mad that we called most anabaptists wicked as they cling to man made ways. They refuted nothing we said about the Manonites. See Bens parents who he is linked to via farming; go to a Manonite (Menno) church Remember, when you point a finger at someone your point three right back at you. **** I think I heard heard this way back in 8th grade, how clever but it is not relevant at all. When John the Baptist or Jesus pointed out the sin of the Pharisee's, they did not care about those three fingers did they? We are to exhort, rebuke, reprove in all doctrine is the command of the faith. 2 Tim 2;4 First Thess. 4:11 says “and that you Study to be quiet, and do your own business.” **** Again... if they believe this in all cases; then why did they email us only to then be loud on emails and NOT mind their own business? They came to us. Here we see more say this but do that .... Jesus warned about their ill types in Matt 23 You call yourself a teacher, have you by chance looked up first Timothy chapter 3? *** I know 1 Tim 3 well.... its a great chapter You don’t have many positive feedback, **** How do they know what feedback I get from others? (I do get some people encouraging we preach on) They judge by numbers? Benjamin's wife Christie told us they have NO other people with them that agree like they do. By the way; Jesus said true saints will be hated for truth NOT adored in great numbers Matt 10. Try again! your own children don’t want anything to do with you, **** My children were grown and gone before I was in Christ. They are of the world. Jesus said He came to divide families ..... try again! Actually we have and do have contact, preach the truth, have some good communication there for many years.... so they lie here. you aren’t the husband of one wife.. **** Actually here you lie again as in Christ; I am married to one godly lady so they need to repent of this slander. It wont go well for you both on judgement day. Starting in verse two through seven says “A bishop then Must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, app to teach; not given to wine, no striker, not greedy a filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; *** They have not shown I fail in any of these? But who said I am a bishop anyway? I am a teacher, evangelist / street preacher.... one that rules well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; for if a man know not how to rule his own house how will he take care of the church of God? *** My house is in order as my children were grown and gone before I was in Christ. They are grasping aren't they? Sadly it is his house (Ben's) that needs some bible tuning. Not a novice, less being lifted up with pride he fall into condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and a snare of the devil.” **** Yes this would exclude them from teaching as novices so why are they teaching me here? They need to repent of that! You seem to bring up a lot of old testament scripture to justify your adulterous relationship. **** I bring up the OT as it exposes that marriage is NOT once for life always as they claim. God allowed divorce with Moses, God commanded Ezra to call for divorces and God was even divorced. All those points are in the link below with scriptures. Note: the OT proves marriage was not permanent in adultery. The covenant was broken, the adulterer was stoned and the other person went on and could remarry. (God even allowed divorce and remarriage while a partner lived on .... Deut 24) Have you ever read Hebrews by chance? Christ abolished the law. Look up Hebrews chapter 7 and chapter 9. **** He did NOT change that marriage was NOT always once for life as divorce is all over the OT word and even in the NT under certain conditions. (fornication or abandonment by unbelievers) There is NO marriage for life in all cases, it does not exist in scripture and it is a man made false doctrine. How dare you even blasphemy God’s name by saying that he is OK and condones divorce. **** Get behind me satan as they need to stop lying... again! I never said God is OK with divorce I said he allowed it and He did! He is not ok with sin either but He made a way for it (sacrifices/Jesus) and He does not judge/kill us asap over it today in most cases. See the link below with scriptures... While youre at it why don’t you check on Malachi chapter 2 verses 14 through 16. “because the Lord has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously; yet is she your companion, and the wife of your covenant. And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And where for one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heeed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. For the Lord, the God of Israel, says that he hates divorce.” **** Wait.... I thought the OT does not apply so we should not use it? More say this but do that by you. They are very unstable like James says. Read the context there folks... God was mad they put they Israelite wives away for pagan wives that he forbid. He hates divorce but He allowed it under Moses, God told Ezra to have them divorce pagans and He divorced Israel twice and Jesus and Paul allowed for some biblical divorce. They need to study better as they will destroy godly homes so I warn others. You refer to the “exception clause “on your website about divorcing. Do you even know what the word fornication means? *** Yes I do folks. The word is Greek is Pornena it means... **** Wrong .... in both the OLD and NEW scriptures; adultery or fornication meant sinful sex / a broken marriage covenant. (death back then) God calls Israel a adulterer against Him so there is physical adultery and there is spiritual adultery. These people the Biggs are united to spiritual adultery like people who keep pagan holidays and false traditions but they ignore those to their peril. (I guess to them if you unite to sinful Manonite parents for money and farm business it is ok... but no it is not!) And for you to say that Jesus is OK with divorce is blaspheming his holy name. **** Again they lie. They need to repent of their lies! I never said he is OK with it. Note: Jesus often took what was the law and raised Himself above / over it like .... healing on the Sabbath, his disciples gathering food on the Sabbath and the man saying let me bury my dad (honor your parents right) but Jesus said no, follow me and let the dead bury the dead. Then he said do not look back or you are not fit for heaven. The same is true with past marriages/divorce. See we are new creations and serve Christ now so; the marriages in the past before Him; fall away to the NEW of serving Him. (like not honoring your parents to follow Him) We are to look forward.... NOT looking backwards! This novice couple cant see to the glorious NEW as by their fruit; they are false converts, no John 13 love If you have your Bible near you look up Mark chapter 10 verses two through 12. If you notice Jesus says in verse three that Moses commanded, not God. In verse four Jesus says Moses wrote the bill of divorcement, not God. **** Mark 10 is speaking to those in God. Paul even says in Romans 7:1 he is speaking to those who know the law. Once IN Christ, we have a standard but before Christ... we are cleansed of our sin/broken standards of the past. They also need to study better Deut 1:3 says this proving it was GODS WORD not Moses..... they do not even believe the Torah was Gods Hly Word. How wicked.... Deuteronomy 1:3 KJVS And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spake unto the children of Israel, according unto all that the Lord had given him in commandment unto them; If you check out verse nine God has joined two to become one, and that no one should put the marriage unit asunder. **** God's intend was not to have divorce and man should not sin and put asunder unless; it is biblical to do so as Jesus and Paul said. The Jews did it for many wrong reasons... hard hearts. But God made allowance for it in the OT and in the NEW (fornication/adultery and abandonment of a unbeliever) God commanded divorce and even divorced Israel twice.... see Jeremiah 3 Only death can do this Mr. James. (Romans charter 7) ***** For those in Christ, without biblical grounds for a divorce it is till death, on this we agree. But there were and are exceptions then and today as I prove at the link below. Only a lack of discernment foolish man denies God did allow divorce in the old and new. Also while you’re at it read verses 11 and 12 of mark. I would think that you would agree that God is the institutor of marriage as clearly seen in the beginning of Genesis concerning Adam and Eve. ****** He is the Creator but; the case here is one you have left the real issue wide open and avoided it. Pre conversion divorce and remarriage is the real issue and per scripture we are washed clean .... we are new creations. ALL things are made new. To deny that makes them a blood trampler. Jesus allowed leaving parents for Him and He allows past divorce and remarriage if you are now IN Him. What this wicked couple teaches is heretical and NOT good! If you check out Hebrews 13 verses four it says “marriage is honorable and all, and the bed undefiled; the whore mongers and adulterous God will judge.” **** He will judge those who "commit willful adultery as saints". (those outside of faith in Christ will be sent to hell mainly for unbelief) Divorce and Remarriage "before conversion" is not on going adultery. The bible proves this and for these people who read other materials; even early Christian writers and anabaptist founders knew this. Why aren't this couple in the same fear as God says all liars Rev 22 and fearful cowards Rev 21 and the prideful Prov 6 wont be in heaven either as.... Ben is both of these? He needs to Christie his wife that all pride filled people (shown how woman/dresses and shows off their body/hair on the internet) ...God hates pride doesn't he? They need to repent of it all as we want better for them! More verses for you to look up regarding adultery in marriage is first Corinthians chapter 7 versus 5, 10 and 11. ***** I have when articles on 1 Cor 7 that teaches the truth. Paul allowed for divorce and remarriage there as well. See that in the link below You say scripture in the Old Testament in Deuteronomy about not being reconciled back to your spouse. Don’t forget Mr. James that Jesus abolished the law, that includes anything pertaining to the laws of Moses. **** This really shows how void of truth they are. The 10 commands are still in play today as is any commands given before Torah was given to Israel. (do not drink blood Genesis 9 and tunic dress Genesis 3 honor your parents) Baptists and anabaptist's always say honor you parents, have no idols and do not commit adultery; were do those laws come from but Exodus 20. Jesus is over those laws and allowed for them to be the letter while following Him in truth was the spirit! In chapter seven verse 11 says to be reconciled or to remain unmarried and that the husband not divorce his wife. Also in verse five it says to come back together again. *** Paul is speaking to believers (see 1 Cor 1) in context. He also said those who come to Christ stay where they are. That meant if you came to Christ divorced and remarried ... stay there! We did that and we rejoice in our godly home that God has redeemed. We will NEVER let wicked unloving heretical fleshly compromised people like the Biggs or Manonites stumble us. We know what God's Word says... We want to warn you that you should take your own medicine and repent and dont perish. **** We have and do repent as needed daily and we will NOT perish if we cling to Christ and obey Him in this NEW life. He washed our OLD away. ALL is made new. 2 Cor 5;17 We have forsaken old pre conversion marriage/divorce and our parents children; to follow Jesus. See Matthew 10:35 Glory to Him! Galatians five verses 19 through 21 says “now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness...That they which do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” ***** It does say that and we agree of course. But divorce and remarriage before Christ is NOT ongoing adultery any more then the man Jesus told to leave his parents/children or wifes to follow Him is on going sin. No! That command to honor parents was till death do your part but; faith / new life in Jesus changed all that in some cases didn't it? Just like in some cases past marriage situations are changed. See Luke 9:60 thru 62 Repent Mr James and Deb. We would encourage you both to self examine your own hearts and life before you start downing people. We’ve said what God’s Word states and we pray you see the error of your ways. *** We have examined it all well and we have various teachings to back it all up. The Biggs have nothing to back up their claims except twisted theology, unloving & fleshly cold hearts. We, to God's glory not ours; are studied to be approved and our long holy witness, steady ministry and proclaiming truth in the streets with the links below prove it. It is our love offering to those striving in truth. Any further messages will be deleted, only God can save your souls and change your hearts, not us. **** There wont be any more emails as we have marked them as Titus 3 heretics and have no desire to strive for unity with such people per scripture any longer. I offered it once but; they did not want to come to love, long suffer, reason in truth or to redeem and restore. No they came to tear down, teach error and lie which is NOT the fruit of God's spirit. They are shallow cold wells; with no water.
