German Baptists Exposed

(Witnessing to German Baptists who could not give answers in God's Word)

The following is a biblical testing of the man made German Baptist faith system as we have MUCH experience with all the Anabaptist flavors. We are full time van dwellers (self funded) out preaching Christ daily to this lost world. We do believe in leaving the worlds ways (entertainamnet and we teach womans head covering) and obeying Christ fully. If you read just a short way into our main website page you will see that we do not cling to any man made group and the German Baptists are indeed, made of man's ways.

German Baptists originate in Germany about the time of the Reformation which is roughly 1500 years after Jesus started His NT body. They later immigrated to America but to date; they hold to their man made ways that cause them to worship in vain per Jesus. Mark 7:6-9.

While they do have a few things correct according to God's Word they also teach and practice MANY lies and traditions of man. There are several different types of German Baptist groups so this is a general statement about this denomination and their ways.

A short description of those errors would be:

* Unbiblical Gospel of just believe. Although they would agree (they always agree when we witness to them) with the biblical gospel Faith in Christ, repentance, new life holy obedience and enduring / that you can find the gospel HERE. Sadly they don't live or preach it and their fruit is contrary to it. We have proved over the years that Anabaptist's are ever more unbiblical / worldly and this shows they lack truth and repentance.

* Many believe that water baptism is when you're born again / born from above.  Scripture teaches that the water baptism does not save you, it's a sign of obedience and commitment to the Lord and we see in scripture that people have gotten the Holy Spirit before baptism.  Listen to an audio HERE about a German Baptist man we talked to and hear him defend and get mad about the point of baptism in the gospel and then throws us out of his booth. He lacked John 13 love for us. 

*A lack of biblical gospel outreach to the lost masses around them.
(Mark 16:15 ) Very few German Baptists evangelize and sadly when they do, it's a false gospel they share. They lack what Jesus said to go preach the gospel (a biblical gospel, not the German Baptist gospel) and make disciples. Sadly they are making German Baptist disciples into their man made system NT saints into God's kingdom in spirit and truth.  John 4:24.

*They practice a ritual form of man run gatherings like all the modern places do that are not spirit led ( 1 Corinthians 14:26). 

* They cling to their German heritage, thus the reason for the German Baptist name and some still do their so called worship services in German.  They most of the time follow the heritage of their 'fore fathers' instead of the truth of God, handing down their man made traditions. 

*Unbiblically holding people who are born from above in Christ, to "pre conversion" sin issues (2 Corinthians 5:17 / divorce / remarriage). German Baptists wrongfully teach on that subject and believe in marriage permanence which is not of God.  See the link below for MANY teachings on that topic and more. 

* Unbiblical view of non-resistance, allowing evil to prevail in dire circumstances instead of being willing to sacrifice self for the help of a neighbor.  

*Practicing what the world does as in Christmas/Easter, secular funerals etc. (Romans 12:2).  The pagan Roman Catholics invented these false holidays (God makes days holy not man) and the German Baptists practice and promote such a lies.  
Revelation 22:14-15 
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. [15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

*A ritualistic view of foot washing and holy kiss (Mark 7).  Foot washing was an example of how saints are to serve one another in the body and the holy kiss is simply an example of how to greet one another in love but the German Baptists lack the biblical meaning in them. Hypocritically they love their own but not others outside of their man made ways.  

* Many are into sports (volleyball, basketball etc) which you can see the proof of the Modesto German Baptist youth playing such games at their conference, in the link at the that we put at the top of the page. *An ecumenical mindset seems to be common among them. 
(2 Thessalonians 3:14) Oftentimes we see they unite with, are friends with and promote other heretical denominations even Roman Catholics. Romans 16:17.

* A habit of clinging to man's traditions not Holy scripture in all things
(Matthew 4:4 )
Examples of practicing the pagan holidays, women wearing unbiblical head coverings (they look like strainers NOT veils)  and specific type cape dresses that are not of God, men not being biblically dressed (Genesis 3) Sunday is not the Lord's day like most say, some groups insist on using horse and buggy along with many more man made traditions that will make your worship in vain, Mark 7.  We've talked to German Baptists and if you don't conform to their specific ways, you would not be able to unite with them, proving they are keeping man's ways over God's holy way. 

*Most Anabaptists (German Baptists) are much more focused on making MAMMON (money) than living and preaching the true gospel. They are often RICH and thus idolators before God as that is their focus most often. See Mark 10 and Jesus with the rich young ruler.

*The very name German Baptist is sinful/against scriptures, causing confusion and division that we were just mentioning above. The Apostle Paul wrote of this type of man centered division when he said in 1 Corinthians 1:12: Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
So it seems very clear to us that man made divisions, traditions and names are sin to be repented of not united with. In Acts 11:26 the early believers were first called Christians, as in they followed Christ alone. Any other type of naming or labeling is NOT of God, but man.


It is our desire to help both the German Baptists, all anabaptist people and the other false denominations out of those sinful divisions / false practices and into the truth of God's Word and ways. Jesus said to worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24) and that cannot ever truly happen in any place or organization made or controlled by men. God's spirit is the One who leads His true body and He is NOT the author of confusion. 1 Cor 15:33.
