Encouragement for Women
Matthew 25:1-4 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. I'm thankful to the Lord for a new day to serve Him! Yesterday I shared a post (HERE) about how I wasn't prepared and referenced the five foolish virgins, but today...I WAS PREPARED! I made sure to have plenty of gospel cards in my purse before I went into the store for a witness walk, flying my gospel bag along the way. I was looking at the discount bakery goods when an older Spanish man approached me and in broken English asked 'How long last...done?' He held a package of discount tortillas and I said 'maybe a week, 7 days'. He smiled and nodded. I said 'wrap them up' and imitated wrapping them. He smiled and replied 'refrigerator?' I nodded. I gave him a gospel card and said 'Jesucristo'. He had a big smile and nodded, thinking then saying 'Christ' and pointed up. I nodded and said 'no hablo español' (holding my fingers like a small sign) and said 'Las iglesias mienten' (churches lie). He looked serious and nodded his head, he thought again and said 'Christ, bible'. I said 'Yes, Cristo la verdad' (Christ is truth). I pointed up and said 'Cristo, bible' and pointed at my heart and he smiled big and nodded. As I was walking away he was reading the card and I was thankful that I was not only prepared to give him a gospel card, I was prepared with some key phrases to help him. I was rejoicing to have been blessed to reach into another culture to share the truth of Christ, lifting Him up and exposing lies of the churches. (If I encounter a woman, I have a translator app that I can use if she wants to have a conversation.) Philippians 3:13-15 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. After yesterday and the humiliation and sorrow I had for not being prepared, I was so thankful the Lord was so gracious and allowed me another chance to share truth. Each day is a gift and I want to redeem them all for the Lord for He is worthy!!! Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? He gives the Holy Spirit to those who repent and are willing to lose their life for Christ. Test yourself HERE to the biblical gospel and make sure you're not holding on to anything lest you be cast away in the end. John 17:1-3 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I saw this in a thrift store.... Be still and know.....what? There's no answer on the other side, it's just the same phrase. How like churchianity to take a portion of God's word and use it for satan's gain. A new ager could use this or a Buddhist or those who come from the rehab programs that are taught a higher power but not Christ. Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Go read all of Psalm 46 and see how God is lifted up yet mugs and sayings like that lift up whoever the reader wants it to be. It also made me think about how partial comments or phrases can be misleading. I don't have much Spanish knowledge but I make sure that my partial comments or phrases have a solid meaning to them that the listener can get truth from and we have full resources to help people come out of their deception and perverted gospels and twisted words that satan teaches. Galatians 1:6-9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. This was in the same thrift store.... The words 'righteous anger' came to mind when I saw that. Putting Jesus with coffee and notice the coffee is first. Leviticus 22:32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the Lord which hallow you, Nothing else to say about that except I want to toss it in the trash. Speaking of trash, I saw this also... Notice how it says the Jesus 'I KNOW'. Not Jesus, the way the truth and the life but the Jesus she knows. The author of that book has a false Billy Graham 'jesus' as that's the one she 'accepted'. Then notice how it also says 'diverse opinions about who He is'. Where does the Bible say we get to have our own opinion about who He is? 2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Be careful about listening to people talk about who they think Jesus is or what they 'think' the scriptures say. The Word of God says what it says and means what it means. It isn't hard to understand if you have the Spirit of God within you to open your eyes and it's easy to test others to it especially as you grow in years of the faith. 2 Peter 3:18
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. Matthew 22:12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. I thought of that verse today and share a little story with you about not being prepared and being speechless. We had some long highway travel today and when we reached our destination I went on a lot of witness walks through some stores. I put out and shared a lot of gospel cards and after going through many stores, I was at the checkout and offered the woman a gospel card and was surprised it was a spanish one. I said 'Oh, hold on, let me get you an English one'. She smiled and waited as I looked in my gospel holder pocket and was speechless...I had none. I'd given them all away and I felt a hot shame come over me for not checking and being prepared. I looked up and smiled and said 'I gave all my English ones away, do you speak Spanish?' (We're in an area that's almost all Spanish people.) She said 'No but I'll take that and use Google translate', holding her hand out for me to give it to her. (She seemed like she really wanted it.) I felt horrible about the whole thing, thankful that she's smart enough to know how to translate it but still kicking myself for not being aware and better prepared. It made me think of this.... Matthew 25:7-10 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so ; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. I was foolish to not check my stash of cards after going through so many and I don't want to be caught like that again. Always be ready..... 1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Revelation 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. If you're truly a child of God (test yourself HERE to the biblical gospel), make sure you're prepared in all ways from giving out the gospel to keeping yourself unspotted from the world. Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. We don't want to be taken unaware in anything because the small things matter. I've shared how being faithful in the small things adds up to big things. The same would be the other way, small things like being unprepared, can add up to being big things that could shipwreck your faith. Ephesians 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, We can all make mistakes (foolish) but we can work harder to be prepared (wise). Later in the day, we had a fruit snack (from the discount berries we found yesterday) and I saw this inside the cover... It made me smile thinking about gospel cards in the hands of saints, ready to be given out. It most certainly is a treasure, like that woman today looking at that card like it was a treasure that she was going to translate:) Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. Go, make yourself ready and I'm here to encourage you along the way. Love in Christ, Sister Aman (Go HERE if you want to see a LOT of birds on the power lines!)
