Greetings sisters who follow the Lord! I thought I'd encourage us with some scriptures on thunder.
Like I said on the audio, it's pretty amazing to think about, the thunder we hear is probably nothing compared to the sound He can make! I don't understand why people don't fear such a Creator who is above all. From about 12 years old (before that but really increasing at that age) I had a great fear of God because I knew He knew everything I ever did that I shouldn't have, and I couldn't erase it, and no matter what I did, I couldn't stop and be sinless. I'm sooooo thankful that He offers wicked mankind the opportunity to repent and is so merciful to give us His Holy Spirit if we're willing to follow Him and obey. (See the biblical gospel HERE.) It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, Because his compassions fail not. Lamentation 3:22 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:11-14 I've been pondering 'testimonies' a lot lately. Last night brother Tupos talked to a man (who we met while standing outside a worldly religious event calling them out) and when asked when he was born again there was a long silence and he said he 'thinks' he was born again around the age of 20. Sisters, if you're born again, you know it Amen? It's the most glorious thing that can happen to mankind and nobody will convince me that the God of the universe would make such an awesome event, so vague or confusing. I know Jesus said the Holy Spirit is like the wind and we don't know where it goes and we don't understand how BUT if you're in darkness and you get the light of Christ, how can you not know it???????? 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Something to think about and I'll be pondering and bring this topic up again and again if the Lord gives me more days. We're thankful for safe travels to the town we will be in for a preach tomorrow, Lord willing, let's see how it goes. In between now and then, we will continue to love and serve the Lord the best we can. And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. Luke 12:36-38 I thought I'd share some interesting things at the dent bent grocery that we didn't buy. There's a lot in those stores but we're very selective because we're stocked up and only have so much room. Here's a few and pieces of our day and some of the things we did buy. Thankful for safe travels and to see such awesome creation along the way. I hope the rest of your day goes well and Lord willing I'll be back again tomorrow.
Love in Christ, Sister Aman Greetings to godly sister saints who love the Lord! But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Matthew 9:36 What a wonderful Savior, one of compassion, who came to shed His blood for the remission of sins that we should have to pay ourselves but He offers the way through Him, the GOSPEL. Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.John 6:68 We saints also, have compassion on our neighbors, sharing the truth with them and being longsuffering for those who are repentant and seeking to obey all truth. Obviously not long suffering in sin, but to those who repent... Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Matthew 18:22 Many won't repent because they can't see their sins, they're blinded even when shown. At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Matthew 11:25 Brother Tupos and I took part of the day to reorganize and sort the van which was really satisfying. We're very organized (you have to be in super small spaces) but it's nice to go through and redo things, see what you have and what you might need etc. Then we traveled to a small town where we'll be through tomorrow as it's supposed to rain all day and we try hard to avoid traveling in the rain, and dark, unless necessary. I'll show you my view (the park is on the other side of the van) and the awesome bird songs going on that we're blessed to have ears that can hear such awesome sounds. We took a quick walk around the park before a ministry call. We've been in this town many, many times and have witnessed to so many people we can't remember them all. Just tonight on our walk, we gave away a couple gospel cards to a young woman and young man and we have a lot of gospel signs on the van with people driving by being able to see. We had free pizza from a survey so I made salad to go with it. Simple blessings to be grateful for and not taking for granted as there may be times coming where we don't have much at all except hunger or thirst (physical) but we won't go hungry or thirsty spiritually will we, if we hold fast to Christ. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. John 4:14-15 Let us drink from the well and eat from the bread of Christ that we may be fulfilled with Him. What a blessing that we can partake of anything good from Him. I hope you all have a joyous day, striving after the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Love to you all, in Christ, Sister Aman Good day sister saints! Did you wake up thanking the Lord for all He has done? Let that be our first charge, loving the Lord with all that we are, willing to lose our life, each day, for Him... I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1 I made an audio to encourage us using scriptures to help discernment in testing all things.
Hopefully that was a blessing to you. Praise the Lord for giving us His word and His Spirit and His truth to discern all things for His glory! Love in Christ, to you all, Sister Aman Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Psalm 33:1 Greetings godly sister saints! Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Matthew 7:17-20 I was pondering that yesterday when we stood outside of a mega church flying gospel signs to all the people coming out, and made an audio while there.
We're working our way to another preach this weekend, Lord willing, and let's see if we get the days. Meanwhile, in-between we continue to love and serve Him with all that we are, telling others about Him. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 I have a question for you... Are you ashamed of the gospel of Christ? Are you afraid to talk about Him to others? Are you afraid to speak freely about Him in public where others can hear? Are you afraid to exalt His holy name? Are you afraid to contend for the faith? If so, check your heart as you're in great danger. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33 Denying Him could be not looking for opportunities to share His glory with others, or not preaching the gospel as all saints have been commanded to do. Denying could be watering down His word, being a man pleaser. Denying could be living outside His will, in sinful disobedience. There are many ways to deny the Lord so we have to examine ourselves to see if we are doing such things and then be swift to repent and correct it all so we can magnify the Lord! And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. Luke 1:46-47 Let us all lift up the Lord! Love, peace and joy to you all, in Christ, Sister Aman Greetings godly sisters! They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Titus 1:16 I thought about that the other day as we stood outside the 'stronger men' conference, you can see the post from last year 2023 HERE and this years HERE. All those men claiming the Lord's name yet living lives, as that scripture says; abominable, disobedient and reprobate, thereby denying Him. It's not just men that go to a conference (that has such wicked worldly carnal entertainment as boxing and other horrid things), it's the average church goer including even the 'so called' meek and quiet Anabaptists. Let's be honest here...we believers also need to be very careful and not have works that deny Him. A sister can be 'doing' all the right things, following the scriptures obediently to the letter but be lacking one thing in her own life whether it be a hardened heart toward someone, partiality either for or against someone, fellowship idolatry etc. These 'small' things can be just as damaging as the obvious 'big' ones so let's be careful pointing out the sins of the worldly professed believers (who have virtually no good fruit) and overlooking those of the body. Who are we to judge? I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 Those are pretty strong words, calling someone in the body 'wicked' but it's true. Let that not be one of us sisters. We want to be pure, chaste, obedient godly women, following after Him and making the way for other sisters who might be coming after or watching from afar; not considered wicked and to be put out. Amen? Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. 1 Thessalonians 4:1 Let's look at a few more verses on 'abound'. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 2 Corinthians 9:8 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; Philippians 1:9 Go look up the Greek word for abound...it will edify you (I was going to do it but it's a good thing for you to do:) Speaking of good things to do.... This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. Titus 3:8 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful. Titus 3:14 Let us be fruitful sister soldier saints for the Lord who is worthy! For some Proverbs 31 / Titus 2 time.... Since we left Florida, we've gone through many dent bent discount grocery stores along the way and have been able to stock up on different healthy foods and snacks. We often use snacking foods as meals, which works great for van life, especially since there are no set schedules or plans in our days. It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord provides so much healthy foods for such good deals and not just at those type of stores but regular ones too by following the sale ads. I've been a bit behind posting here because we've been busy on the streets but thankful to be catching up here, hoping you're all doing well and pressing on in the Lord. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Philippians 3:13-15 We were blessed to find some parking in this big city (that we're still in) and believe it or not, the bigger cities are harder to find parking because of the issues they have with the beggars and disrespectful travelers who ruin it for those who aren't. The Lord provides all we need, when we need it, where we need it, how we need it and we don't ask why because we know it's all because of Christ. Test yourself to the biblical gospel HERE and see if you truly are a child of God. I say that a lot and for good reason because there's much deception today and most people we meet are not born of God (based by their lack of fruit) but they think they are. Today we met a couple of them in the park (a woman and then later a man) that claim to be born again, having the Holy Spirit but admitting they live in sin and admitting that they might be left outside the gates of heaven. The Bible says they WILL be if they don't repent and we lovingly warned them. Let that not be us, test, prove, examine and don't stop!!! Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 2 Corinthians 13:5 As I was typing this I saw a woman yelling at the manager outside here (we're in the marketplace using the wifi) so I went to the window to see what was going on. I saw the anger and as I walked back to get my phone to video just in case there was an issue, the angry woman hit the worker, then she went and tore down a sign. The police got her and she'll no longer be allowed on this property or she'll be charged for trespassing. (The manager wasn't hurt.) It made me think of how the rebellious, sinful, unrepentant won't be allowed in the kingdom of heaven. There will be no opportunities to even trespass in heaven. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Luke 16:23-26 Let us all walk circumspectly for the Lord, for He is worthy! Love, in Christ, to you all, Sister Aman |
