Greetings to my sisters in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ! I hope you are all doing well today and striving on for our Master and Lord, who is worthy to be praised! And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Colossians 3:15 I was thinking about thankfulness today. I do every day though, for so many things and I like to start off by thanking the One who made this day for us to be thankful in and the One who gave us a reason to be thankful. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21 We deserve hell and damnation but Christ came to make the way... And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him Hebrews 5:9 We have that blessed hope set before us if we endure in that saving faith, following after Him in holiness and obedience, until the end. How could we not be filled with thankfulness? Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. [5] For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100:4-5 I'm thankful for the GOSPEL which gives life and that saints all over the world are sharing it to the saving of other souls and to the glory of God! Several gospel cards went out today, they were well received and brother Tupos was able to share much truth with a man that needed some vehicle help. And to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord, and likewise at even 1 Chronicles 23:30 I love that, morning and evening to give Him thanks and praise. Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. Revelation 11:17 There are so many things in this life that we should be thankful for and in that it brings honor and glory to God, as all good things come from Him. As we live this nomad life, traveling down the gospel road, there are many hardships that we have overcome to get to this point, all by the power of God and I'm thankful for it because it's a flesh killer and much of that has been shed. I'm so much more thankful than I was, in all things, even though I thought I was then! Thankfulness overcomes much in this life. I was thankful to have water to wash some clothes, a place to hang them with sunshine and non humid air to dry them. I'm thankful every time we get ice for the cooler. You can see a post on our cooler in van life HERE if you want. I'm thankful for one last egg, which is being protected in the cooler as they can so easily be smashed. I'm thankful for eyes to see such beautiful creations of the Lord. I'm thankful for such examples in nature that can encourage us. I love that, the plants poking through the cracks, growing where they are not wanted....just like is saints in a world where we aren't wanted. No different than our Savior. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isaiah 53:3 I'm thankful for simple, nourishing foods...and would gladly cook for some for you! I'm thankful when we have any place to park and extra thankful for when it's flat. (Something a person doesn't think of when living in a house....learning how to sleep at a slope lol.) I'm thankful to be a godly, Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 woman (striving to be anyway) and being able to provide healthy foods while being frugal. Speaking of Proverbs 31, I'm working my way through that, verse by verse, for us sisters, you can find that HERE. I'm thankful every time we have safe travels and don't have tires like this, if there's even any tire left. I'm thankful for thrift stores, and to be able to figure out how to modify things by hand sewing since I don't have my sewing machine out here on the road. I cut the big cuff off the sleeves and want to use the pieces to make some sort of pockets on it. Let's see how that turns out lol, I'll be sure to share no matter how it ends up with or without pockets:-) I'm thankful to be able to give God glory and not shame anymore. I hope the people driving that car are doing the same. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth Psalm 108:5 I'm thankful for a way to navigate our travels even if the gps (often) picks the bad routes. I'm thankful for our morning coffee because it means there's good works to be done yet and I get to serve Him one more day. I served satan for so many years, I'm thankful to be able to serve Christ. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him Revelation 22:3 There's so many things to be thankful for, all to His glory, these are just a few in our days as we go about His good works, enduring in this life for Him who has overcome all things. I hope your days are thankful and joyous, for all He's done. Being a shining light and good witness to those around you. Let us strive on for our Master, no matter what! Love to you all, Sister Aman Good morning sister saints! We're thankful that the Lord blessed us with another day to serve Him. We're at the marketplace for a little while, working online ministry and fishing for men. (Oftentimes people will see our bible and stop to talk.) And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4:19 We all drop much of our lives when we come to Christ, losing family, friends, careers, homes, lifestyles etc. Not everyone loses the same things but all lose in some way or another....but does any of that really matter? Let's go to one of my favorite verses... Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ Philippians 3:8 It's all dung sisters. All of it in the scope of eternity because.... For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 1 Timothy 6:7 Is there anything worth holding on to and losing our souls over? For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Matthew 16:26-27 We ask people that all the time.... What's worth losing your soul over? We were out on the streets at a festival yesterday, (you can see that HERE) standing for the Lord and His truth, calling people to repentance and to come to this glorious Savior, Jesus Christ, through the GOSPEL. I always reflect after such things, seeing the masses walk by and either ignore or take a gospel card but continue on in their idle day. I try not to wonder what they do with the truth or the warnings or the light that is shined in their dark day, because that's the Lord's business and we just keep going on in our lives, doing what the Lord has us do, being who He created us to be and seeing what happens next :-) I thought this was interesting....a couple women were handing out (unbiblical) sabbath day materials. One took a gospel card and brother Tupos quickly explained that he can prove that the sabbath is not eternal. He told them there would be no need of the sun because the Son (Jesus) will be the light. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 22:5 They listened for a couple minutes then walked away as a man walked up and wanted to talk about what he read on the gospel card. Brother Tupos was talking to him (he was actually a pastor and surprisingly it was a really nice talk) and while they were discussing the lies of man made religion and what the truth really is, that woman who didn't get a gospel card (one of the two who were handing out the unbiblical Sabbath material) snuck up and motioned me for one. She took it and I saw her reading it as she walked away. That brought me great joy because she was the one that seemed interested (of the two). Many gospel cards went out and there were several quick conversations of which we were able to warn them of the lies they are in. Praise God, I rejoice, but I leave all the rest with the Lord because we can't be worried about the seeds that are planted. And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. Mark 4:26-27 Keep that in mind sisters, as we go about serving the Lord in the life He has called us. He has His saints where He wants us all, doing what He wants us to do and we don't know what He's doing with all our works but let us do them with zeal and joy unto Him, leaving all the seeds behind us and letting the Lord do His works with them. We were blessed to see an awesome sunset from the Lord the other day. I also wanted to share these...glory to God. I hope your day is joyous in the Lord, seeking to serve Him in spirit and truth.d Sister Aman with Brother Tupos Hello sister saints! There's a new audio up that I hope will encourage some scattered sisters and also encourage us that we should never be bored following Christ. I hope it edifies you! Love in Christ, Sister Aman ![]()
Greetings sisters!
Praise the Lord for this day and I have a story to tell you! See that picture? There's two things to look at. #1 Is an airport we drove by a while ago. #2 Is the cracked windshield. I'm very familiar with that airport as I had to fly out of it many times when I was in the corporate world (before I was born again). Once, on a return flight from a customer of the company I worked for, a crack appeared on the windshield of the plane while we were in the air. There was quite a bit of silence as we flew the last hour and a half back to that airport but many sighs of relief when we landed. (Note: I HATED all the flying I had to do in that job.) So as we were driving by the other day, brother James said "Hey, you won't have to fly outta there anymore!" I agreed and mentioned that cracked windshield incident to which he replied... "Yep, now you're in the gospel van with a cracked windshield." I said: "We fly down the highway working for our Lord instead flying in the air working for satan." No longer am I (or brother James who was also in the corporate world for many years) seeking to strive after that which is temporal (money, bigger bonuses and salaries, reputation etc.) and now we strive for that which is eternal! I'm so thankful that plane (or all the others I had to fly on) didn't crash and kill me in my sins. I wouldn't go back to that old wretched life for anything because we follow after the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. (Luke 7:47) Both Brother James and I have been forgiven of much. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. (Luke 12:48) Much will be required of us saints and there is much work to do for the kingdom of God! Let me know how I can help you in the ways of a godly woman. Love to you all, Sister Deb Good evening sisters! What a beautiful day it was, in the 70's, sunny and breezy. I was able to wash a lot of clothes and hang them to dry, helped brother James unload some wheelbarrows of wood that he cut, split and hauled back to the house, stored away some pasta that we found on a great deal, washed some buckets we got at the thrift store, organized a cupboard and a bunch of other odds and ends through the day that filled it up with good hard work. I love to work, even when I don't feel good because at the end of the day it's a great satisfaction to see your labors and in them, all done unto the Lord. This morning brother James asked me if I wanted a picture and I said sure. He asked what I wanted and since I had no clue, I said he could probably figure out something and he did, see the picture. It says so much that words can't really say and it exhibits how I try to be, in a world that's getting darker and darker. I love it! When we are in Christ, He is our all and we have nothing to fear, in fact we're told not to fear anyone except.... And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28 I just read Matthew 24, for the audio bible for women and in it, we see many of the issues listed in the picture but let's remember this... And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:6 We're told not to be troubled about what is to come and why? Because if we love not our life unto death, we have a great reward waiting for us in the end, where our Savior went to make a place for us, with the Father. No matter what comes upon on us, He is watching and knows all things and don't forget He has given us peace, not like the world, and the joy of the Lord is our strength. Just a simple encouraging post for you tonight. I hope you rest well, hold fast and endure through all that comes...and I'm here to encourage you along. Love to you in Christ Jesus, Sister Deb |
