Greetings sister saints! Praise the Lord for this day, are you thankful for it and everything in it? I made an audio to encourage us in being thankful. ![]()
Just after I got my audio done, I went back in by brother Tupos (we're at the marketplace working online ministry) and the storm came. I wasn't able to catch any of the thunder sound though but it's pretty amazing. Makes me think of .... The Lord thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice. 2 Samuel 22:14 God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. Job 37:5 Gives me a good idea for an audio soon, maybe tomorrow if we get the day. As I'm typing, the storm came in fast and hard and now it's mostly gone except for the last bits of rain and the sun is peeking through passing clouds. Let's see what the rest of the day brings in the weather, and in our spiritual lives. Just because storms pass, doesn't mean we can let our guard down both physically and spiritually. Hold fast and watch sisters:) Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Revelation 3:3 Titus 2 Proverbs 31 time.... Brother Tupos had a drinking thermos that held 24 ounces and for some reason it started suctioning the liquid up and seeping out out the seal on the top so we switched him to another one we found discounted. (A super nice one too:) I took his older thermos and played around with the water to rice ratio to find a way to make rice in it and I think, after a few times of it turning out perfectly, I have it down and ready to share a post on it soon. Tomorrow we have some travel and some dent bents along the way, if I remember I'll try to share some pics if I see anything unusual:) I have to finish this, wrap up the van and get us ready to go to our parking spot as it's getting late and our day is almost done. Love to you all, in Christ who is above all, Sister Aman Greetings to my sisters in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ! I hope you are all doing well today and striving on for our Master and Lord, who is worthy to be praised! And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Colossians 3:15 I was thinking about thankfulness today. I do every day though, for so many things and I like to start off by thanking the One who made this day for us to be thankful in and the One who gave us a reason to be thankful. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21 We deserve hell and damnation but Christ came to make the way... And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him Hebrews 5:9 We have that blessed hope set before us if we endure in that saving faith, following after Him in holiness and obedience, until the end. How could we not be filled with thankfulness? Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. [5] For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100:4-5 I'm thankful for the GOSPEL which gives life and that saints all over the world are sharing it to the saving of other souls and to the glory of God! Several gospel cards went out today, they were well received and brother Tupos was able to share much truth with a man that needed some vehicle help. And to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord, and likewise at even 1 Chronicles 23:30 I love that, morning and evening to give Him thanks and praise. Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. Revelation 11:17 There are so many things in this life that we should be thankful for and in that it brings honor and glory to God, as all good things come from Him. As we live this nomad life, traveling down the gospel road, there are many hardships that we have overcome to get to this point, all by the power of God and I'm thankful for it because it's a flesh killer and much of that has been shed. I'm so much more thankful than I was, in all things, even though I thought I was then! Thankfulness overcomes much in this life. I was thankful to have water to wash some clothes, a place to hang them with sunshine and non humid air to dry them. I'm thankful every time we get ice for the cooler. You can see a post on our cooler in van life HERE if you want. I'm thankful for one last egg, which is being protected in the cooler as they can so easily be smashed. I'm thankful for eyes to see such beautiful creations of the Lord. I'm thankful for such examples in nature that can encourage us. I love that, the plants poking through the cracks, growing where they are not wanted....just like is saints in a world where we aren't wanted. No different than our Savior. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isaiah 53:3 I'm thankful for simple, nourishing foods...and would gladly cook for some for you! I'm thankful when we have any place to park and extra thankful for when it's flat. (Something a person doesn't think of when living in a house....learning how to sleep at a slope lol.) I'm thankful to be a godly, Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 woman (striving to be anyway) and being able to provide healthy foods while being frugal. Speaking of Proverbs 31, I'm working my way through that, verse by verse, for us sisters, you can find that HERE. I'm thankful every time we have safe travels and don't have tires like this, if there's even any tire left. I'm thankful for thrift stores, and to be able to figure out how to modify things by hand sewing since I don't have my sewing machine out here on the road. I cut the big cuff off the sleeves and want to use the pieces to make some sort of pockets on it. Let's see how that turns out lol, I'll be sure to share no matter how it ends up with or without pockets:-) I'm thankful to be able to give God glory and not shame anymore. I hope the people driving that car are doing the same. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth Psalm 108:5 I'm thankful for a way to navigate our travels even if the gps (often) picks the bad routes. I'm thankful for our morning coffee because it means there's good works to be done yet and I get to serve Him one more day. I served satan for so many years, I'm thankful to be able to serve Christ. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him Revelation 22:3 There's so many things to be thankful for, all to His glory, these are just a few in our days as we go about His good works, enduring in this life for Him who has overcome all things. I hope your days are thankful and joyous, for all He's done. Being a shining light and good witness to those around you. Let us strive on for our Master, no matter what! Love to you all, Sister Aman |
