Encouragement for Today (1/13/25)

Psalm 55:22 
Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

I share a few verses on 'sustain' to encourage us.

1 Kings 17:9 
Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

Nehemiah 9:21 
Yea, forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not.

God sustained them in the desert in many ways including feeding them manna and today we have the true bread from heaven. 

John 6:31-33 
Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

He sustains us with physical but much more the spiritual!

Psalm 3:5 
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.

How many nights have you had that you think you can't bear to make it through but by the power of God we can have peace and rest.  He does that for His true sheep that follow Him, I hope that's you.  (Test yourself to the biblical gospel HERE and make sure you're not deceived as many people are born into a false gospel of Satan that cannot save anyone.) 

Psalm 55:22 
Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

It's a matter of us laying everything down before Him. He won't just take it all away from us, we have to continually be casting our burdens upon Him and he gives us what we need to press through by the power of the Holy Spirit and by His Grace He sustains us. 

Proverbs 18:14 
The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?

Keep your eyes on Christ and don't let anything turn you from seeking the kingdom of God!

​I saw this in a thrift store...

Someone took the time to buy the cups, design that message and make sure it got into the hands of people and it's clear to show what the message is about,  their corrupt churchianity that promotes itself and the lies of Satan.  The scriptures say to go preach the gospel, not propagate satan's synogogues. People who go there are the ones who put things like this on their businesses...

I got news for you....Sunday is NOT the Lord's day, that's just another lie from Satan.  We're to serve the Lord each and every day...

Romans 12:1-2 
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

'Living sacrifice' means as long as we're alive and that means every day we're breathing which means every day we live for Him, not just Sunday.

Deuteronomy 11:13 
And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,


Deuteronomy 6:5 
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

I saw this too...foolish earthly wisdom which man esteems but God abhors (see Luke 16:15). ​

Psalm 31:24 
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

Psalm 33:18 
Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

​Psalm 33:22 
Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Our hope is in the Lord! I hope that you're putting your hope in the Lord as He will sustain you as long as you do.
