Encouragement for Today (1/3/25)

Genesis 5:1-2 
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

I was thinking about 'blessed' and see God blessing Adam and Eve in the beginning and then what do we see in the end?

Revelation 22:14 
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Then in between are many more references including Matthew 5 (go read it).
​Blessed are:

* the poor *
* they that mourn *
* the meek *
​* they that hunger and thirst after righteousness *
* the merciful *
* the pure in heart *
* the peacemakers *
* they which are persecuted for righteousness sake *
* the reviled, persecuted and falsely accused *

Those who are truly of the Lord (test yourself HERE to the gospel) are blessed to have eyes to see and ears to hear. 

Matthew 13:16 
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

More so, let us bless the Lord as nothing is anything with out Him!

1 Peter 1:3-9 
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:  Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

That would be a good word study for you that will 'bless' you too:-)

We see such things like that on satan's synogogues all over the place and when things are repeated over and over, people tend to believe it...look at all the false gospels people believe.  Let that be an encouragement for us (if you truly are His) to stand strong in the truth and shine His light brightly!

We're thankful and blessed to have safe travels as we go down the gospel road.  

I went into a store this morning before we left and was hoping to bless someone with the truth but there were none in the store and as I was praying to the Lord to use me through the day, a woman pushing a walker came down the walkway.  I offered to open the door for her, finding out it's an automatic door (lol) but I had time to give her a gospel card and share truth with her before she went in.  Seeds going out that we have no control over once they go, remember that, godly women send the seeds out and we gotta move on sending more out as the Lord does what He does.  

We saw some HUGE aloe plants today.  Aloe is such a blessing from the Lord to help us in all sorts of health issues, what an awesome creation.  We can certainly use and appreciate such things but never forget to give thanks to the one who created it all. 

Matthew 9:12-13 
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

What a blessing to have the opportunity to repent.  A sorry mess we would all be if we had one chance and spotted ourselves when young, to know we were eternally damned without any hope. We serve such a merciful creator.  

Luke 1:50 
And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

We're going to be in another HUGE city (metro) for the weekend shining our lights and doing what we do out here for the Lord.  How are you doing where He called you?

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

I hope your day is peaceful and you take every thought captive for the Lord.
