Greetings sisters who love the Lord who first loved us! We love him, because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19 How have your days been going? We've been busy the past many days, praise the Lord for He is worthy of all our labors, as tiny as they are compared to Him, but still our best. I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Psalm 145:1 We take a lot of witness walks during the day, whenever possible, in and out of stores, up and down sidewalks in the towns, giving gospel cards sharing truth whenever possible. In the evenings we try to take another walk and it always makes me smile when out of nowhere, someone comes walking down the sidewalk and gets the GOSPEL good news. One of the recent evening walks we took was in a tourist town that we had been witnessing in (flying signs and street preaching) and I thought I'd show you one picture of the MANY buildings of rooms at this resort. There are a TON of places like this in the town. People flock from Chicago and Minneapolis to come there and fulfill the lust of the flesh and we hope to be a light to someone who might be seeing through it all as futile. They had these wicked, demonic statues out by their drive and it amazes me how much satan has right in front of people's eyes but the blindness is still there...ourselves included when we were not in Christ. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, [18] Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Ephesians 4:17-18 I thought I'd share some more pics of one of our walks. To God be the glory, how refreshing in a dark world. We really appreciate our evening walks, when we can do them, as it's a time of refreshing for us, people get the gospel and we can stop doing and just 'be' for a bit. Remember to do that sisters, however that works for you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 That level is in the back of the van by our bed and you can see it's very unlevel, which is a common thing in van life. It makes me kill my flesh and be thankful for a place to park, a nice bed to sleep, a pillow and blankets and so much more and my thankfulness increases over and above my flesh, which I hate. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. [5] For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100:4-5 This afternoon, brother Tupos had some things to do on the van so I started prepping some shirts for mending etc. Tomorrow will be more van work (Lord willing) and so I'll be, hopefully, doing the sewing (by hand cuz there's no room for a sewing machine:) What I'm doing is sewing some inserts on some shirts that got a bit thin so I dismantled one shirt and I can modify 3 shirts. I'll also try sewing some pockets on a shirt as I like how it provides more coverage. I look forward to seeing how it all turns out. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. Proverbs 31:18 I was just reading about Deborah the prophetess in Judges and Jael (go read about her in Judges 4) and thought about how strong and hearty the women had to be back then and I think Proverbs 31 really sums up who they all were and what we should all be. Her candle goeth out not by night....I laugh at that because I often do clothes late in the evening, plunging / washing the clothes that soaked the night before and then recycling the rinse water to soak the next batch of clothes. What you see in that picture is a cloth bag with a few soap nuts in it. It's a natural way to clean clothes (you can look them up) and I hope to do a post on them soon. That picture makes me think of flesh killing lol. I've had a lot of technology issues lately and a lot of opportunities to kill my flesh, of which I've done a great job at but want to improve on. (We will never stop improving how fast we kill that wretched flesh.) It was hard to do but I had to buy a new chromebook but was blessed to find the exact same one I've been using, for a good deal and it's upgraded from the old version, so that's even a bigger blessing. That was the sunset by us tonight by our parking spot, that the Lord made and allowed us to look at and give Him glory. I have to go....I hope you all have a joyous day and rejoice in the Lord, overcoming the flesh, being thankful in all things and rejoicing to be the daughter of the most High. Hold fast and love to you all! Sister Aman For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:20
