Praise the Lord for this day He's made, let us rejoice in it. Psalm 40:16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified. I want to share about those pictures and remind us about judging rightly. We were given a couple gift cards from someone with the intent that we would go to a different marketplaces than we've been, to shine our light and witness to those who might be looking for truth. They're for coffee shops that we don't go to (unless I get points from my receipt apps), their drinks and food are pretty pricey and it caters to a different sort of clientele. Lately we've been there a few times, using the gift cards, with witnessing happening each time, praise God! The point of this post is to remind us that we have to be careful judging what we see without knowing the truth because people could see us in those places and think that we waste money and are out pleasing the flesh with such things. In fact, brother Tupos, (while we were in one of those coffee shops) witnessed to a man that struck up a biblical conversation with him, told him that we don't buy such things but were gifted a card specifically to go in for witnessing. It was a good reminder for me to be careful what I think or judge without knowing the whole truth of the matter. We could use this as a reference... Proverbs 18:13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him. I have to share this story....we were in one of those places and I saw a woman reading what I thought was the (unbiblical) Daily Bread booklet and when she left, I grabbed my umbrella and walked out after her. Our van was parked by her so I walked toward our van and raised my hand up in a wave, of which she rolled her window down. I asked her if that's what I saw her reading and she said 'yes'. I warned her about such things, gave her a gospel card and quickly shared what I could with her before she got wet from the rain pouring in her window. She was very receptive and I was rejoicing because right before that, a man got truth from Brother Tupos in that same place. If we were concerned about being wrongly judged for being in such a place, we wouldn't have been able to share truth with those people. The same could be said for casinos as they allow travelers to park in their parking lots overnight, which we do. Once again, the same could be said for some food places that I sometimes get free meals because of surveys. We do have to be careful about our witness but we also have to be careful about wrongly judging situations that we don't know all the details. Matthew 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. We're told to judge the body of Christ and their fruit, but we still want to know the whole matter, learning to discern rightly, especially when it comes to people we don't know. John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. You may see someone walking up to you that is covered in tattoos and smoking a cigarette and they ask you a biblical question. You don't automatically assume they are being a hypocrite in their sins, you learn of the whole matter then rightly judge how to deal with the situation. You might see an older woman in a simple dress and think she's closer to the truth but her heart could be dark. If we're not careful, we can make inner judgments that are not correct and they can corrupt what we should do in the situation. Just another reminder for us all as the flesh is always battling against us. Romans 8:7-8 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Someone might see this woman and think she's a bag lady or homeless person dragging her belongings with her.... ...that's me. People often confused us with homeless people because we dress biblical (different than the world) and we're on the streets. I use my cart (with the gospel sign on it) and rarely do you see a 'regular' person doing such things, only the homeless / beggars / bag ladies etc. Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. We were on a busy intersection today and thousands of people saw the gospel signs, I hope at least one person repents before it's too late. Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. That's one of my favorite verses and I shared it with a woman the other day. Make your choice today...because you might not have tomorrow! The world offers so many choices (both good and sinful) today in everything you can think of from foods to entertainment, music, houses, jobs, clothing etc.....that people take faith the same way because Satan has created so many choices, slapping the name of Jesus on them all. I hope you're not slapping Jesus name on you or your faith and are truly serving the King of Kings! Psalm 25:12-14 What man is he that feareth the Lord ? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. There's alligators where we're at this winter and although they may be dormant, we need to still be aware as they are just like Satan, lurking and looking for someone to devour and the pharisees weren't much different. Matthew 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. This bridge carried us across those waters to safety:-) I used to hate bridges, and I'm still not fond of them but I'll go anywhere for the Lord and stop letting my flesh bother me over it. We've been very busy in this area and soon to be leaving and heading down the gospel road, Lord willing, to other new places to put the gospel out in the highways and hedges the best we can in all the ways possible. Acts 5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. 🚐🍒🍳🧹🥞🏡🔪📖🧺 Titus 2 / Proverbs 31 time: Click the picture above to see a recipe for simple seasoned nuts:-) I'm thankful for all the healthy foods the Lord allows us to have, to keep doing His works out here and I hope you are working hard for the Lord where you are. Speaking of....I have to go now but Lord willing, be back soon to share love and encouragement for those who love Him! Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Love to you all, in Christ who first loved us,
