Free In Christ

Thankful for a warm fire on a cold early morning.

I'm thankful for this day the Lord has given us, how about you?  
I made an audio called 'Free in Christ' and I hope it edifies you as it did me while looking up the scriptures and pondering even more than I talked about on it.  There's so much freedom in Christ that nothing this world has to offer means anything anymore!

John 8:36 
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

I saw this....

...and thought about how such people are NOT free in Christ, they're slaves to themselves, their mind, their thoughts and their flesh.

​I saw this also...

If all you have is 15 minutes for God, you're not His.  

Psalm 1:2 
But his delight is in the law of the Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

He wants your entire life, not a segmented 15 minute (unbiblical) devotional sacrifice to him or a 1.5 hour sacrifice on Sunday (or Saturday) in the synogogues of Satan, which are a stench to Him. 

Isaiah 1:11-15 
To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord : I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

1 Samuel 15:22 
And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

We're thankful for our freedom to be able to travel and preach the gospel and the Lord has allowed us to be safe along the way thus far.  Go HERE if you want to see a big city we traveled through this morning and look at the pics above if you want to see God's amazing creation.  What a contrast from the concrete jungle of cities to God's peace in nature. 

Another passage to encourage godly women about our freedom...

Ephesians 4:22-24 
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
