Project Done More to Come!

Luke 15:8-9 
Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

Praise the Lord I have the project done, I'm finished transferring the articles from our blog to the website here.  I'm rejoicing and thankful the Lord allowed me the days to do it all!  I'm also rejoicing that Brother Tupos was able to complete a couple huge van projects the past 2 days. I'm sure you know what it's like when you finish something that seems insurmountable but the Lord gives you the time and patience to do it all...much like the woman in the parable above.  Rejoicing in earthly things that need to be done is a good thing but so much better to rejoice in our Savior!

And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

While I was working on all those articles, I was edified to see all the different topics / teachings and I was able to ponder on them as I did my work, talking to brother Tupos about some of them.  In the midst of it all, I thought of some topics I want to share here at some point, if I get the days.  One I'm looking forward to is going through the scriptures and picking out the women and seeing what lessons we can learn from them and I'm sure as I do that, I'll come across other edifying topics to share on. 

Isaiah 28:10 
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

I like that, one thing at a time, building upon the one before.

2 Peter 1:5-8 
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; [7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. [8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let that be all godly women, striving for the Lord, pressing forward, building characteristics upon one another as we please the Lord.  Are you a child of God?  Test yourself HERE to the gospel and forsake any false ways.

While working on my project, we were blessed with a couple free campgrounds with electricity and I was thinking about how the women of old were so simple but women today, with all the luxuries (like power and all the appliances to help out in the house) have created so much more complication and work.  I'm pondering an audio on that too but maybe in the meantime you can think about how today's culture makes a big complication of housework more so than years ago.

The Lord is merciful to allow us to see such beauty, day after day, night after night.  Let us rejoice in Him!
