Warning Women to Love our Neighbors

Leviticus 19:18 
Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.

Matthew 22:39 
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

We're to love God first and foremost, then we love our neighbor as ourselves and we see from the Old Testament to the New Testament, that hasn't changed.  Loving our neighbors is not just being kind, helping them or having a fleshly feeling of love, loving our neighbors is more than that, it's sharing the life saving truth with them...the gospel which you can find HERE. 

Mark 1:15 
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Because I love my neighbors (that could be anyone from your spouse to children, literal neighbors around you or anyone you come in contact with) I did something that will share the truth even more, while we go into the marketplace to work online. 

It's my sign from my gospel shopping basket that I use on my cart when I need to buy more than a few things.  

I used velcro to attach it to my computer cover and it's easy to take off when I want to use it on my basket. 

Another way I loved our neighbor is by sending out an email to a company that brother Tupos saw on a bulletin board advertising Buddhism.  

Other ways we're loving our neighbor is flying gospel signs on our van, being out in the world, available to anyone seeking, giving out gospel cards, leaving cards in places and putting up truth online.  We would be out on the streets today flying gospel signs but the wind is incredibly gusty and it's hard to hold a sign still for people passing by to read.  We've also been going into the marketplace earlier in the mornings at times to reach the elderly who like to be there then and not so much later in the day.  We know there will be few and we don't expect much to happen but we just be faithful in each day and let the Lord deal with it all.  

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, [8] In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

If we love our neighbor wouldn't we want to warn them about their punishment coming if they don't repent and also give them hope?  It's too easy for women to make excuses and claim that it's the men's job to do it but that's a lie, tell that to Priscilla, the women who labored in the gospel with Paul, Anna, the woman at the well and more.  (Go look them up and be edified how they stood for truth.)

Philippians 4:3 
And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Another thing I want to mention is that I've seen women who seemed to have the fruit of following Christ (coming out of the world, biblically covering and dressing, leaving worldly claimed family and friends to serve the Lord) have opportunities to go out and share the truth with their neighbors and they either rise up and go with zeal, only to eventually fall back into mostly silence, or they have the opportunity to learn how to do it but squander it out of either fear or lacking the true love that the Holy Spirit gives. 

1 Corinthians 15:58 
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

In my unregenerate life, before the gospel transformed my life, I used to get irritated with myself if I started doing something that would be considered good (giving up bad habits or something) only to fall back into them.  God's Word talks about that and I resembled that a lot before the Lord changed me. 

2 Peter 2:22 
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

I was that vomit eating dog and dirty sow, time and time, year after year, never being able to have the power to overcome until I became a new creation in Christ.  That doesn't mean I don't have issues today and sometimes fade back into a bad habit but it's short-lived and I'm quickly back on track.  I'll go back to the verse above about being steadfast and unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord...that's how you keep from fading back. Keep doing your works for the Lord, consistently, in joy, rejoicing in all He's done, being thankful for everything and He will give you all you need in your life and to share with your neighbor. 

Luke 5:32 
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

I also want to warn women about moralizing instead of sharing the gospel.  Oftentimes, in conversations with women who have a zeal to share truth, they bring up certain sins in their family or friends that they keep trying to get them to stop.  Homosexuality or addictions are the biggest topics and I often tell them that if those people gave up those sins and don't repent to become a child of God, their eternity is the same with or without the sins.  They get it yet make excuses and I'll share why....

It's easier to talk about the sin someone is doing (which they probably admit they know is sin) than to talk about the heart of that person not surrendering and submitting to Christ in full repentance.  Pointing at the sin is a way of removing the direct warning to the person...see what I mean?

For example:
"Hey friend, you know that (insert sin here) is a sin."
"Yes I know."
"God says that's a sin and you should stop it."

And the conversation goes from there.... but what should happen is the proclamation of the gospel and the person should be told that although (fill in the sin) is a sin, so are all the other sins they are doing and if they don't repent of them all, if they aren't willing to lose this life and become a born again child of God, they will perish.  

This morning while in the marketplace I overheard some older men talking about how good the Anabaptists are. (The Anabaptists are not biblical, see them exposed HERE.)
The world loves them because they're so nice and quiet and keep to themselves. Does that sound like biblical believers to you, being loved by the world? 
Or is this the more biblical view?

Matthew 10:22 
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Matthew 5:10 
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

2 Timothy 3:12 
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Are you loved or hated by your neighbor because of the truth?
If you're loved you might hate your neighbor. 
If you're hated, you might be loving your neighbor. (If you're sharing the truth.) 
Ponder that....
