Update March 25, 2025 We finally received the results of the LCPD police investigation, see it below. While it is very lacking and contains false information / slanderous lies that I will address in the coming days. Amazingly both arresting officers body cams were not available for the investigation. The investigation does clearly show (from their own LC zoning man) that we were NOT on church property as I was stating at the time of our arrest. We have full body cam footage showing us on or near the curb the entire time, clearly inside the zoning line from Andrews report. The red dots show where we were practicing our first amendment rights on city property but we were wrongly arrested for criminal trespass on what they claim as private property. At NO TIME were we on Glad Tidings property and both of our body cams prove that. (We have video footage from the entire visit.)  Feb 2025 It appears we are not the only ones who have experienced possible excessive improper ways by the LCPD. This news article says 21 complaints and 8 possible law suits have delayed the Lake Charles chief from being reappointed by the city. See the news article HERE. NOTE: Because we believe so strongly in our innocence we've requested an internal investigation with Lake Charles Police through Sgt. Andrew M. We look forward to the results.  Note: We received a copy of the police report and it has errors / false statements as the videos and facts below prove. * We never escalated things as my amp was on before the Sgt approached me. To say we escalated is a false statement with other false statements as well. Facts about our unlawful trespass arrest on Dec 15 2024 that video below proves .... (Note: we have never been arrested in many years of legal peaceful street ministry preaching of Jesus Christ.) 1) No church leader ever told us to leave and a church leader actually stood and talked bible truth with us and she even took a gospel card, it's on video below. 2) The supervisor of police, Aymond, walks up and told us "we are fine to preach there" (she only mentioned my small amp) and the church woman even talks with us and never says to leave, it's on video below. 3) The male officer Wolfe "just seconds later" walks up and says I have been trespassing (not true) as no one ever told us to leave till he mentions trespass. At that time, me and my wife are on the curb / in the street. (city property) I say on video, I am not on public property but I meant to say, I am not on private property as clearly I wasn't on their property nor was I ever asked to leave. 4) Notice when he threatens arrest, both my wife and I are already on the street curb or in the street so much so see on video he cuffs me standing in the street and hear him say now move to the grass to get out of the street. This arrest proves he wanted us out of the entire area not just off their property. I asked for the sidewalk to preach on and they denied that right. 5) We were not offered a place to preach out 1st amendment right that I was asking for over and over. 6) We believe he also illegally impounded our van that cost $650 and no parking ticket was ever given to us. 7) After we were handcuffed and in police cars, another officer told us we could get a ticket if just left and once again we were denied our free speech on the sidewalk. Also after being handcuffed (not resisting) an officer was squeezing my wife's arm to where she cried out. They were so callous and uncaring they didn't even seat belt us in the police car. **My wife has email correspondence from officer Aymond (many days prior to arriving in the city) giving permission to park on that particular street. See the entire correspondence below at the end of the post. We were never on their property at all and I backed into the street and my wife stepped off the curb when the officer mentioned trespass. How is this criminal trespass at all I ask? The police supervisor just told us we were fine preaching there. *Both officers were working security for the church and I believe they had partial bias against us that day. The church invites the public to come there and we just talked truth... from the curb. Fact: When he first warned of any trespass, we were already on the curb or in the street that is city owned. All of this is clear on the video below. I may be guilty of the amp law, but trespass, I just can't see it based on the video evidence I am providing. Thank you for your review sir..... Not one person came out and said we were trespassing and notice we are standing on the curbs. They turned and walked away. At second 8 Sgt. Aymond says 'you're more than welcome to preach but you have to turn off the amplifier'. Sgt Aymond says we're fine but without the amp yet officer Wolfe arrests us within minutes. A church leader has a conversation with us. At minute about 1:50 you can hear Sgt Aymond say "the sidewalk would have been fine, the amplifier would have been fine". At about minute 2:14 the male officer says that our van is illegally parked. The picture below shows we are parked far away from the sidewalk/intersection. At about minute 3 Sgt Aymond said 'If you all would have been quiet and stayed here with your signs, I wouldn't have been (unintelligible)'. Twice she said we were fine where we were but officer Wolfe said we were trespassing. Our van legally parked (per correspondence with officer Aymond who gave permission to park there, days before we arrived) and no ticket given before unlawful towing.
