Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches

This is a really easy recipe for van life (or house life) and very frugal if you get discounted rotisserie chicken. (I found one for $2.02 in the discount frozen bin at Walmart, they're good about marking them down.) 

I deboned the chicken, put some meat on a paper plate and topped it with barbecue sauce, mixing it up good. (BBQ sauce is cheap.)

Microwave it a couple minutes (covered and stirred in between) and then put it on whatever bread you like. 

I added some shredded cabbage to it and we also had some inexpensive beans and pickled cabbage that I found discounted.  For less than $1 per meal, we ate well for many days. (These beans are cheap and go well with anything:-)

I use paper plates in van life when I'm making messy things that will take too much water or napkins or wipes to clean up.  For a couple pennies I can just toss it.  

I'm thankful for the simple things in life that the Lord provides to keep us going along the gospel road.
