Soap Nuts for Washing Clothes

Here's a simple post about how I use soap nuts to wash my clothes in van life.
I'll let you go look them up on the internet and see what they are and how you can use them (yes they can be used in washing machines).

They need warm water to soften and be activated. You can see the suds....

I put a couple in that bag (that came with them), soak them in warm water and then add my clothes and wash.  Sometimes I let them soak in with the clothes if it's a bigger batch.  

The awesome thing is that it rinses out quickly with much less water than when using commercial soap.  They can be used over and over many times before they wear out and you have to start over with new ones.  

Soap nuts are an awesome addition to van life and maybe it'll be a help to some of you:-)
