Extending a Short Shirt Sleeve

I found a shirt for brother Tupos at a thrift store and the short sleeves were too short so I cut the sleeves off an old shirt and sewed them on as an extension.  

All I did was cut them, roll the raw edge under so it wouldn't fray and sewed them on to the shirt. No, I don't have an iron out here in van life, nor do I have a sewing machine but if I can do all this my hand sewing, out here on the road, someone with a machine (even basic level) can figure out how to do it.  

It doesn't matter if they match or if the sewing seam is seen on the outside, remember, clothes are just sin coverings.
