Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Day after day the saints of God march on in the truth, doing the good works He has set before them. Here are some of my godly woman's works to share with you to encourage you along in yours. There's a couple new recipes up and if you're interested, just click each picture to go to the recipe. Cabbage Goulash and Chickpea Tuna salad. We were blessed to find a couple free campgrounds with electricity which was such a blessing as we had some single digit cold days so we were able to use our little heaters. I was spending a lot of time on that big project moving all the teachings from the blog to our website to it all worked out great being nestled up in our van home. During this time we had some warmer times to take a walk and one place had pecan trees. We were able to find a bunch of pecans left over from the season. We found some discount all natural turkey bacon so brother Tupos braved the 20-30 mph winds, using the van as a buffer, and cooked it up. It cost $2.39 and we ate off it for days. Brother Tupos also took on a big project and replaced the ball joints on our van, at one of the free campgrounds. One night he had to try to finish up in the dark. Check out his post HERE. Out here on the gospel road, we're thankful for any parking spot for the night but often, we have to deal with a slope. While we were at the campgrounds, they were both really sloped so it makes for a challenge sleeping. I found a way to shove a bunch of things under the lower part of my side of the mattress to help me as it doesn't seem to affect brother Tupos bones as much as mine. We find a way to do things out here (like the video below:-) and I'll be doing an encouraging post on 'something for something' soon, Lord willing:-) I made a light veggie soup for a day when we didn't feel like having much. Another day I made this soup, stretching an inexpensive can of chicken noodle soup with some veggies I had on hand. With the weather being way to cold to wash clothes, I rejoiced when we found a laundromat that was so affordable. It was a very small town so the prices were according to the income level it seems. I've been looking for another stainless steel drink container for when we go on the streets and found one at a thrift store. Be patient and wait, keep watching and looking and usually something at a good price is found. As we witness walk through stores, I'm also looking for deals and oftentimes marvel at how much people will pay for convenience foods. Little portions of prepared foods for outrageous pricing, all to please the flesh. There's nothing wrong with buying something precooked or convenience but watch out for the pricing as we are to be good stewards of the Lord's money. We saw this building with 'Bible Hardware' written on it so I looked it up and found that the name of the owner is Bible. It made me think of all the tools we have in the scriptures to keep us on the narrow path, how wonderful our Lord is to provide it for us. I'll end this with a mug I saw at a thrift store...I liked it but it was way to big for me so I left it for someone else to be blessed. I hope your duties are going well, test yourself to the gospel HERE and don't be deceived like so many are.
