Alabado sea Dios por este Dia! I'm thankful for each day the Lord has given us to praise Him, serve Him and shine His light and truth for all to see! (Test yourself to the gospel HERE) I share some more glimpses into my Titus 2 / Proverbs 31 duties here out in van life on the gospel road and we've added more posts to the van dweller blog if you're interested you can find that HERE. As time goes on, I post things in here in a draft and post at a later date so some are from many weeks ago but that's okay:-) Psalm 115:1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. I mentioned in the previous post how I got an air fryer and would share a bit more about it, you can see that post HERE. I'm very thankful for it and for the little bit of money we paid for it, it's definitely worth the investment as it allows me to cook a few different things in a more economical way as well as being easier for clean up and less splattering in the van from certain items. I still use my hot pot cookers, this air fryer is just a nice addition. Click the pictures below for a few recipes. Hopefully coming next time will be recipes for tuna patties and sweet potato fries in the air fryer. Hermano Tupos (hermano means brother in spanish) had some stains on his shirt so I used some stains remover on it and it came out.... Go HERE to see the post and what I used. I'm thankful for the deals and sales I'm able to find out here....this is just a few. Click the picture below to go to a post we did exposing Dia de Los Reyes a pagan Mexican holiday that I found out about after seeing these in the store. Look at how enticing it would be to walk into a grocery store, see those and think, 'oh a unique sweet bread, let's try one and see what it's all about...and then get swept away in even more pagan traditions that don't honor a Holy God....like pagan Christmass, Easter, good Friday etc. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 2 Corinthians 6:17 I found some free protein drinks (from my cash back apps) and wanted to put them in the cooler but I didn't want to melt all our ice so drained off the melted ice water from the bags in the cooler and poured it over them... ...letting them sit in it until they were cooled. All melted ice water goes up front in our wash station so that's what I did with that water when I was done. In tiny house off grid living you have to be wise and frugal in all areas, Hermano Tupos had some holes in the knee of his pants so I hand sewed a patch on it, you can see that post HERE if you're interested. (As of this post a few weeks later, he's been wearing them and it hasn't ripped out yet:-) I went for a witness walk in a store that sells a lot of Mexican things and saw this sale going on so I bought a few green beans...what a low price. We've been at a campground out in the country (a free one that the city takes care of) and I've been working on how to easily transition from having things in a cooler to living out of dry goods so having canned veggies is a blessing. Hermano Tupos has been busy doing a lot of projects on the van while we're here and one of them was this screen door. We had this magnetic mesh one HERE for a long time and it was rather cumbersome as the wind would blow it open and the magnets weren't very strong...it was workable but this door is much better, awesome in fact. Below are pics you can click on to see various van dwelling and Titus 2 posts that we did lately. I've been dabbling in learning Spanish for a while now but not setting aside time to seriously study but that will be coming soon, Lord willing. As a Titus 2 / Proverbs 31 woman, I need to make sure I balance all my duties out and not slack on any but a good evaluation of what I do in my days and where I can trim out more time for more learning would be a good thing because it's all for the glory of God to preach the gospel to a neighbor that's in our back yard. Let's see what happens. This soup is outdated by 7 months but..... ....it's still good to eat, which we did:-) Do your own research and your own judgement but expiration dates don't mean that food is bad on that date. I used to can a lot of our garden produce that I grew and if I didn't rotate the jars right and maybe missed a couple in the back, they could be well over a year or two old and we'd still eat it. Something to think about if you're one of those people who are fearful of those dates, but again, you do your own research and use your own judgement. In the slideshow at the top of the post you see a box of macaroni and cheese that I got free from one of my cashback apps. I cooked it up, we had half of it for a meal and for the other half I'll put in some tuna and some rehydrated peas and corn, stretching it into another full meal. Hopefully that's edifying knowing a godly woman is doing here Titus 2 / Proverbs 31 duties even while rolling down the gospel road. Of course, when I can, I'm still adding edification to the women's area HERE, audios HERE and you might be interested in the revamp of the Spanish Gospel page HERE.
Hold fast to the truth and keep your eyes on Christ. Con amor ferviente en Cristo, Hermana Aman Comments are closed.
