Tomato Pasta

Here's a super simple way to use extra tomatoes, those that are getting soft or fresh is good too!

Tomato pasta and salad.

Ingredients
* Cooked pasta 
* Tomatoes (cherry tomatoes cut in half, canned or chopped fresh tomatoes) 
* Oil
* Seasonings (whatever you have on hand)


Cook pasta and set aside.
Heat a pan and add the oil and tomatoes. 
Add seasonings and cook a couple minutes.
Toss in the pasta and cook a minute or two until warm.
Top with grated parmesan or other cheese if you want. 

I grew up eating elbow noodles with canned tomatoes from the garden ( with only salt and pepper) and it cost pennies back then and is still really affordable today!  All you need is cooked pasta and toss in a can of cooked tomatoes, warm it up and eat it.  

Some stores actually sell precooked pasta, which I've bought in the past on coupons and before the prices went up.  It still wouldn't be a bad deal at the current prices if you're only feeding one or two people. Brother Tupos and I don't eat a lot of pasta so when I do make it, we really appreciate it.
Anyway, food doesn't have to be fancy to be tasty and filling, be thankful for what you have and don't over complicate things.
