1 Thessalonians 4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; We're out here to lift up Christ, preach the gospel (test yourself HERE) and help anyone who is seeking truth and I also have my godly women duties that need to be done so I share some with you as encouragement to keep going. We had a break in the weather from the cooler weather with rain and were blessed to find water so I was able to wash some clothes at a park. I was blessed to do some cooking ahead.  As we traveled recently through the border towns with both rich and very poor areas, we saw a lot of small, old houses that were simple and practical (which I actually appreciate) and you could see the people used what they could for shelter and vehicles. (There must not be a lot of restrictive codes in many of the areas.) Then we saw (in certain parts of the cities) such houses as the one in the picture. It made me think of how a person could get swept away from small and simple that is nothing to look at, to progressing into something huge, expensive and grande. That's the American culture (and many other cultures but we're in this one) to press and influence you to keep wanting and reaching for more and making a person not content or thankful for what they have. Let that not be so among the godly women of God. Brother Tupos does a good job keeping the van and generator filled with gas. The generator can run several days on one gallon, what a blessing. Go HERE to see a video on how brother Tupos did on some shopping:-)  I found a great deal on this tea which makes a delicious iced drink which I'll do a recipe on soon if the Lord gives me more days.  I was thinking how blessed women are to have so many different things to help out in the kitchen (here in America anyway) and to be thankful with what we have, not coveting what we don't or can't have. On the other hand a woman could get swept away and have it become a burden to have too many, amen? The works of a godly woman are very important as it is obedience to the Lord and women are to do them joyfully with thankfulness, bringing Him more glory in doing so. Strive on and let your light shine, letting man see your good works.
