GOD'S WORD VS THE UNBIBLICAL ROMAN CATHOLIC CATECHISM
1) The RC catechism says this regarding salvation and purgatory:
From their own catechism 1030
All who die in God‟s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven.
* This is the made up teaching of purgatory that was created and did you know....it was later used sinfully to sell indulgences to the people to raise money to pay for the building of the massive St. Peters in Rome. Where did purgatory come from? Not from the bible.
The Roman Church formulated her doctrine of faith on Purgatory especially at the Councils of Florence [1439-1445 AD] and Trent [1545-1563 AD]. Many of their doctrines have been manufactured many years after Jesus walked the earth.
What does God's Word say about salvation?
Hebrews 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
You can also read the account of the thief on the cross. Jesus in Luke 23 said "today you will be with me in paradise".
(No purgatory needed.)
We are cleansed and forgiven by His blood alone after we are born again in Him through faith and repentance; and not through time in purgatory. This makes the RC catechism # 1030 on purgatory a false teaching to be rejected.

2) The roman catholic catechism on Mary being sinless:
From their own catechism 411
preserved free from all stain of original sin" (966)
. . . was redeemed from the moment of her conception. Preserved immune from all stain of original sin. (491)
. . .enriched from the first instant of her conception. (492)
. . .free from any stain of sin, as though fashioned by the Holy Spirit and formed as a new creature. (493)
She was preserved from all stain of original sin and by a special grace of God committed no sin of any kind during her whole earthly live.
But God's Word say this: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:12
by the obedience of one (Jesus) shall many be made righteous. Romans 5:19
Mary was a fallen human like the rest of us and she even called the Lord her Savior.
**************************************************************************
3) The roman catholic catechism says this about Mary helping in salvation.....
Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation (969)
God's Word say this: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (speaking of Jesus, see v. 10) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
Mary nor any other human can help in one's salvation. This lifting up of Mary came out of the mother child false pagan worship of the pagans in roman times. It is through Christ alone..... anyone will be saved.

4) Roman Catholics believe Muslims are saved going to heaven.
From their own catechism 841
The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."
Fact: Muslims do not believe that Christ was the Son of God at all, they deny the Trinity and they worship a totally different false god. (Some say it is satan himself.) God's Word says this:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 John 5:7
To believe that a false anti christ faith like Islam serves the same God of the bible is both a lie and more evidence of the lack of truth found in the RC system and leadership

#5 Roman Catholics believe the pope is God on earth and infallible
The successor of St. Peter as Bishop of Rome and Supreme Pontiff of the universal Catholic Church. The pope exercises a primacy of authority as Vicar of Christ and shepherd of the whole Church; he receives the divine assistance promised by Christ to the Church when he defines infallibly a doctrine of faith or morals. (Catechism of the Catholic Church; Glossary.)
The Pope is also referred to as the Holy Father. This is blasphemy for God is the Holy Father!
God's Word says: Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. Revelation 15:4
Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. John 17:11
Roman Catholics believe:
Only the pope can interpret the Bible (100)
The task of interpreting the Word of God authentically has been entrusted solely to the Magisterium of the Church, that is, to the Pope and to the bishops in communion with him.
God's Word says: But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2:27
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
Roman Catholics believe:
The pope has "full, supreme, and universal power over the whole church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered." (882)
God's Word says: For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Ephesians 5:23
And he [Jesus] is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. Colossians 1:18
Roman Catholics believe:
The pope enjoys "supreme, full, immediate, and universal power in the care of souls" (937)
God's Word says: Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Ephesians 5:24
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7
Roman Catholics believe:
The Roman Pontiff [i.e., the Pope] ... enjoys this infallibility [i.e., the infallibility of Christ mentioned in #890] in virtue of his office...This infallibility extends as far as the deposit of divine Revelation itself. (891)
God's Word says: As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Romans 3:10
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:12
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 2 Peter 1:19-20
To look to ANY man for eternal truth other then the One who walked the earth 2000 years ago (fully God and fully man) and made a way for fallen man via the cross; is to miss out on salvation and the ONLY way to the Father, Jesus Christ. The RC faith teaches a false Jesus and a false gospel.

#6 Roman Catholics don't believe the Word of God is Sufficient
This catechism aims at presenting an organic synthesis of the essential and fundamental contents of Catholic doctrine, as regards both faith and morals, in the light of the Second Vatican Council and the whole of the Church‟s Tradition. Its principal sources are the Sacred Scriptures, the Fathers of the Church, the liturgy, and the Church’s Magisterium. (11)
Sacred Scripture is written principally in the Church‟s heart rather than in documents and records. (113)
God's Word says: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:15
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Revelation 1:3
Jesus said: It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God
Matthew 4:4
God's Word alone holds the truth and it is by it we are to live and NOT by the compromised teachings of men (RC system) that have changed, perverted, altered and even hidden the biblical truth for centuries to gain control over the people.

# 7 ) Roman Catholics believe they must confess before a priest
Disclosure or confession of sins to a priest is...essential...By the priest‟s sacramental absolution God grants the penitent "pardon and peace." (1424)
Confession to a priest is an essential part of the sacrament of Penance. (1456)
One who desires to obtain reconciliation with God and with the Church, must confess to a priest. (1493)
The bishop and his priests forgives sins in the name of Jesus Christ. (1448)
Only priests ... can forgive sins in the name of Christ. (1495)
Gods Word says: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5
I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. Psalms 32:5
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Nowhere does the bible teach us to confess to a special man in the office of a priest. Peter told all men born in Christ they are now priests; since Christ is Risen. (See 1 Peter 2:9)
***********************************************************************************************
#8 Roman Catholics believe the bread and wine actually turns into Christ's body, they worship it and they teach it forgives sin.
Their catechism says this:
It is by the conversion of the bread and wine into Christ’s body and blood that Christ becomes present in this sacrament. (1375)
Holy Communion separates us from sin. The body of Christ we receive in Holy Communion is "given up for us," and the blood we drink "shed for the many for the forgiveness of sins." For this reason the Eucharist cannot unite us to Christ without at the same time cleansing us from past sins and preserving us from future sins. (1393)
God's Word says: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Revelation 1:5
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11
For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, Hebrews 10:26
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. John 19
The idea this act of the roman eucharist can forgive sins is NOT found in God's Word at all. Jesus told us in Matthew 26 it was to remember Him and Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11 it was to proclaim His death till he comes again. It is a symbol of His sacrifice and NOT literally His blood and body. (To believe it turns into God that is paganism at its best.)
Romans Catholics use John 6 to support this error filled doctrine.
Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”
35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
Rejected by His Own 41 The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.” 42 And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”
43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, “Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”
52 The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”
53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
59 These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.
Many Disciples Turn Away 60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying; who can understand it?” 61 When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you? 62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”
66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.
From this chapter we see that Jesus was saying a very hard thing (eat my flesh and drink my blood) because there were many following Him that were not true disciples at all. By His hard teaching; it forced many false believers to leave Him. This was His way of sorting out the true believers from those who followed for the food or miracles only.
Are we to really eat his flesh? Did the disciples start eating his flesh and drinking His blood from that day on? No, not at all. Fact is it was years before He instituted the Lord's Supper in Matthew 26. So what was it that Christ was meaning to tell His true followers?
In in verse 63 Jesus Christ makes it clear and says this:
The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
He tells us right in the chapter is was "spirit" not physical at all.
The Roman Catholic system has invented this idea the a priest can call the God of Creation down to enter into the bread and make it God in the flesh; but it is nothing but a lie, idolatry and roman paganism. The bread and wine is a wonderful "symbol" of His sacrifice for His people but not His literal body at all. It is NOT to be worshiped or adored as Roman Catholics do so today. This is again idolatry and to be avoided for obedience to the Lord and for God's glory.
The leadership of the Roman Catholic faith uses this teaching to control the people in the pews. This doctrine is not found practiced in God's Holy Word or the practices of the New Testament church that Jesus founded in the first century so; it must be rejected as error and unbiblical.
**************************************
9) Roman catholics believe baptism saves you.
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word." (1213)
Baptism is a bath that purifies, justifies, and sanctifies. (1227)
The fact is that water Baptism doesn't save you as it is a symbol of the cleansing Christ gave us by His blood.
God's Word says: Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Hebrews 9:12
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:13, 14
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Hebrews 13:12
Note: the thief on the cross was never baptized in water but He was promised heaven by Christ!
The RC faith also teaches the very unbiblical practice if infant baptism.
The Church and the parents would deny a child the priceless grace of becoming a child of God were they not to confer Baptism shortly after birth. (1250)
Gods Word doesn't support this false teaching at all. Baptism is a symbol not "the" salvation.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest [i.e. be baptized]. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Acts 8:37
Notice: belief and repentance must come before baptism so infant baptism is unbiblical and has pagan origins to it.
In the future we will be posting more information comparing God's Word to the unbiblical roman catholic catechism. In love we must proclaim that they teach a false gospel (see Galatians 1:8) that is accursed and cannot save them. We desire better for people and that is why we reach out.
