The Head Covering Movement Exposed

This is not a biblical head covering.

Disclaimer: we believe in head covering... but it must be done biblically!

We at dontperish.com are biblical New Testament followers of Christ who have left the denominational man made religious world, we reject the ways of the culture like TV, sports, entertainment, our ladies head cover / dress (in loose, plain dresses) according to the Word of God, we reject all pagan ways like Christmas and Easter and we cling to ONLY the biblical church ways that Jesus ordained through Paul and the other apostles. We believe and will practice only holy, orderly controlled OPEN gatherings (mostly in homes or out doors) where all born again obedient men can bring what God gives them to share. No ONE man is in control but multiple men shall over see (elders) not lord over others. 

There's a website called 'The Head covering Movement' that we need to warn you about. Although they have a concept of head covering (per 1 Corinthians 11), they are not biblically following God's Word in full obedience, thus they are deceiving people.  They also have many other sins that we will post here in order that we might warn others. (See links at the bottom for teaching articles on all these topics and more.) 

* They teach that the head covering is to be worn in 'worship' and that you can be uncovered in public.  This is unbiblical.  Remember that our entire lives are to be a living sacrifice in worship to God (Romans 12:1-2) not just specific times of the week.  God's Word teaches women are to wear head coverings all times, not just put something on their head when they pray. 

* They don't teach biblical head covering as they promote those who wear little headbands or coverings that allow most of the hair to be exposed.  This is sinful.

* They promote adornment which is sinful per 1 Timothy 2 and 1 Peter 3. 

* They don't teach biblical dress per 1 Timothy 2 and 1 Peter 3.  

* They are ecumenical, uniting with various denominations.

* Jeremy Gardiner (the founder) is a worldly man into sports and unbiblical instrumental music.

* Jeremy links to, attends and promotes unbiblical ministries (Gospel Coalition, Together for the Gospel) and false teachers (Al Mohler,  Tim Challies, Tim Keller, Ray Comfort, Billy Graham, David Platt, Frances Chan, Kirk Cameron)

* He attends Moody Bible Institute which teaches unbiblical theology.

* He attends blasphemous comedy acts that joke about the things of God with John Crist.

This is more than enough to expose the false teaching of Head covering Movement / Jeremy Gardiner as false and unbiblical / per Romans 16:17...to be marked and avoided.  

Ladies, don't overlook sinful ways or compromise for the sake of unity.  Stand on God's word and truth even if it means you stand alone.
