Encouragement for Women
Greetings sister saints!
After seeing this water spigot and something that happened by it, I did an audio to encourage us sisters.
After I did this audio, I walked back to the van and a few minutes later an older couple walked up to the van to talk about the things of God. See, if they love the word they will come, if they don't, they won't. Pretty simple.
I hope it encouraged you all :-)
Love and blessings,
Greetings sister saints!
I hope this audio about biblical separation from parents (who claim Christ but are disobedient) helps you and I will also include the links to the other teachings I was referring to. (Click the button below to listen to it.)
This is about division from family and sinful believers:
This one is in reference to honoring parents or leaving them for Christ:
We must do the hard things for Chrit but remember He has already done the hardest.
Love to you all,
Greetings sister saints!
We came into a town today and saw these trucks set up like this, in tribute to mothers day. I'm not sure if you know this but mothers day has pagan origins and just like other man made holidays (such as Christ-mass and Easter for a couple examples) we encourage you to test them to the word of God. You can find that article HERE.
So what do you do if you have been celebrating it all these years and then you learn about it's pagan origins and how it goes against the word of God?
Study the scriptures so you are rooted in truth and then you can do what we did, tell anyone involved that you are going to obey God and not celebrate it any longer. It's a great opportunity to share the gospel with them by explaining that you no longer are participating in the ways of the world and instead have been transformed by the gospel and are now striving to obey God. You can assure them that you still love them and care about them but not just within one day, but every day. Yes, some mothers may be hurt by this but they can repent and you are there to help them, what a glorious gift you can give them...the truth of God's word and the freedom from the world!
What do you do if you share this truth with others and they continue to tell you happy mothers day or give you gifts? (Such as a husband or grown children.) There is grace in the beginning until they understand you really mean what you say but there will come a time where you will have to draw the line and refuse the gifts and although you thank them, you have to stand on God's Word.
Let's look at ONE example:
Say you have grown children and you were born again after they were out of the house. You learn that mother's day is pagan and you inform them in a letter or conversation etc as we spoke of earlier here. (By then you should have already told them about Christ-mass and Easter and all the worldly activities you have forsaken.) Say the first year after you told them, they buy you a gift and give it to you with a hug and a thank you for being their mother. You can receive the gift (spirit of the law vs letter) and then explain to them again that you are taking your faith and obedience seriously. Let them know you appreciate their love but you no longer want any gifts and won't be acknowledging the day. The next year comes around and they do the same, what do you do? You have to draw the line because they've already been told in the beginning, then again when it came around and they 'forgot' or something and now it's going on again. They obviously don't understand and probably won't but that doesn't matter because we don't bend God's Word to suite man. You can thank them for their love but not for the acknowledgement of mother's day and explain to them that transformed people obey God, not man.
Something to think about....if you have someone in your life that does things like that over man made pagan holidays, after you have already told them, I would suggest you prepare ahead of each one. Meaning, you can write a letter, send an email or have a conversation ahead of the day and thank them for respecting you by not participating in that day. That's a gentle reminder of where you stand and if they do it anyway, you can ask them if they (got your letter, email or remembered the conversation you had with them about it.)
No doubt there will be hurt feelings over it (among all the other things) and will most likely cause separation. (There will already be separation from those who claim Christ but are living in sin.) Keep in mind sisters, all this we do is just our reasonable service and nothing more.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Let us godly women be a shining light of truth for those who want to forsake all the ways of the world and strive in the ways of God.
Love to you all,
Greetings sisters in Christ!
(This post was previously written on the sisters blog but brought over to our website here.)
I pray you are all doing well and that the Lord is giving you opportunities to witness His truth :-) What a glorious thing to share the gospel good news amen?! When we are ready and we ask the Lord to give us opportunities, He certainly does, doesn't He?!
This is a serious subject and I pray it's an encouragement and motivator to take the things of God seriously.
I have a question for you sisters.
If someone is spiritually deceived, does that make them a blameless victim?
I ask because we get a lot of people telling us how to do our ministry and that we should not do it the way we do because it seems so harsh and they say that almost all the people going into the religious organizations are deceived. They make it out like those people are the innocent victims, under the big bad wolf of a pastor. I have an answer for that...
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 Timothy 4:3-4
So who is to blame for that deception? They "heap up to themselves teachers, having itching ears". And what else do they do? "They shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables." Looks to me that they are responsible for it themselves.
Now let's look at the situation with Eve, she had everything she needed with God, including His commands (Word) yet she allowed herself to be deceived.
And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
The serpent deceived her right? So she was innocent because the serpent did it right? Wrong. She was in sin not only for eating the fruit but for being deceived and I'll prove it.
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1 Timothy 2:14
Eve was in sin (transgression) because she allowed herself to be deceived. We are warned many times throughout the New Testament to not be deceived.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
(Also see Luke 2:18, 1 John 4:1, Colossians 2:8, 1 Corinthians 6:9, 1 Corinthians 15:33, Mark 13:5, 1 Corinthians 3:18, Galatians 6:7 and many more!)
This means we are responsible for NOT being deceived amen? Many years ago we were witnessing to a woman who claimed to be a Lutheran. Brother Jim told her that she will be responsible for her life lived but she claimed that if her pastor was wrong and deceived her, it was his fault and he will be the one in trouble.
Sadly that's the case in many people we come across, they simply follow others instead of digging into the Word for their truth and there they sit for 2 years, 5 years, 10 years or more. If they would have died in that deception, they would have been held responsible for being deceived, which is sin. Titus 3:3 lists sins and being deceived is one of them.
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Of course God gives grace to a new believer who does not know His word or has never read it before, but surely as brother Jim is always saying, the Holy Spirit will NOT leave a believer in sin for very long as conviction starts very fast. When a person gets to 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22, they will quickly know that they are to test ALL THINGS.
If we have the word of God and we are diligently studying, testing and obeying all things, we have no excuses to be deceived as the Holy Spirit will teach us ALL THINGS.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The Holy Spirit will guide us into ALL TRUTH
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
And we need no man to teach us or God's word is a lie, read 1 John 2:27. (Of course after we test someone and find them to be following God's Word, we can take teaching from them.) So in saying all this, I hope the fear of God is instilled in all of us because being deceived is a sin and one that I don't want any of us partaking of or using it to blame others for your lack of following and digging for the truth, lest we be left outside the gates. If we stick to God's Word we will not be deceived.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Revelation 22:14-15
And the Holy Spirit will NOT leave people in their sins so those who are deceived for year after year either don't have the Holy Spirit or they are in rebellion, both of which will not lead to eternal life.
I hope this encourages urgency in all of us to test all things, dig for the truth and not allow anyone to deceive us. If you are not born again, please see the gospel HERE.
Peace and blessings to you all.
Greetings sister saints!
I made an audio that might bless you.
Love in Christ,
Good evening sister saints!
I wanted to share some encouragement with you about standing strong on doctrine and not allowing the truth to slide just for friends. Let me share a story with you and I hope it will do a couple things.
#1 Maybe the woman that did this will see this and repent.
#2 Maybe it will convict someone else to not do the same.
Several months ago I received a message from a woman who claimed that her and her husband agreed with us on most everything. (She said they fully agree with the 10 point test we use for people to test their religious body.) We emailed a while and were going over topics for women (of which I gently corrected some areas I saw) and in the meantime brother James had emailed her husband to go over the gospel. The husband's response was very brief, didn't want to discuss the gospel (only a quick remark about it) and then went right into the unbiblical lie of marriage permanence. Meaning he believes the lie of one marriage partner for life no matter what and that Christ's blood doesn't cleanse all past sins when someone is born again. The topic is so twisted by the marriage permanence people that I don't even want to go there, you can see brother James many teachings against HERE.
Anyway, the husband wouldn't get on the phone to go to the scriptures on the gospel or what he was accusing us of but his wife emailed brother James and tried to defend it all, hiding that she was the one who wrote it. She did eventually confess and repent of it.
After some time, I checked her social media platform and saw her teaching that she removed her headcovering because her husband asked her to. She posted it on the world wide web and could have led a sheep astray with such things so I used it as a teaching moment to warn my sisters or those who might be seeking. You can see that HERE.
So now we get to the point of this post....
That teaching I did, using her words, convicted her and she sent me an email , thanking me and stating her conviction and repentance over removing the headcovering. She also said she and her husband were studying the marriage topic and were seeing some biblical points that brother James made and that they were still learning.
Brother James sent an email to her husband and didn't receive a response so he text him. It wasn't long in the texts that this message (it's only part of it) was sent....
So according to her husband, she lied? Or is he lying and they truly were looking and seeing through some of the heresy they claim. Either way we can learn a lesson from this but first...
I'd like to leave a message for you (you know who you are)....
In love I say....
Please, repent of all your sins (I shared some of them with you and see you picked up some more after that) and obey the scriptures. If you truly love the Lord you will follow Him in all ways, including submitting to your husband in all things EXCEPT SIN. You are looking like this...
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Timothy 3:6-7
I also say that that you are accountable for your own studies and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach you, don't blindly follow what any man says, not even your husband.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
1 Thessalonians 5:21-22
Please, also study Matthew 4:4 and Acts 5:29.
Brother James and I are here for you both if there is repentance and you both are seeking all truth.
I love you in the Lord and will be praying for you and your house.
What can we learn from this?
It was okay for her to email me and thank me for the correction on headcovering because it helped her see the truth and it's women's issues. Where she went wrong was to share where she and her husband are in doctrinal issues as that should be left to the men to discuss. I know, there are husbands that should be doing what they are supposed to and not hiding in the dark, but we sisters have to be careful not to step in where we shouldn't. Turn them over to God and let Him deal with their disobedience and we continue to strive in and for truth.
He also said that she let 'beliefs and biblical standards slide' for friends. In their case, they have some unbiblical beliefs that they should let slide so they can find the truth but apart from that, it's a good teaching moment for us sisters in the truth, not to let things slide just for fellowship. That would be fellowship idolatry. Hold fast to the truth sisters and let the Lord deal with those who are outside of it and don't want to repent.
Warning to us all.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Jesus also commanded us NOT to be deceived, which means we have His power to know the truth through the Holy Spirit.
Also, do you see that calling people out is a biblical concept and can help in their repentance? Look at all the people called out in the bible...for thousands of years and millions (or more) people to know about through the ages and learn what not to do...
Love to you all,
Greetings to my sisters in the Lord!
GOD IS GOOD!!!!!
Brother James drew me that picture because....well you can listen to the audio and find out why...
I appreciate my new mug that makes me smile thinking of God being good but better than that is His precious Word that gives life. Praises to our heavenly Father for all good things because He is good!
A sister sent that picture above :-)
Let us serve this good God for He is worthy.
Love in Christ Jesus,
I made a confession audio that turned into being something that might be a good encouragement to you about not comparing ourselves.
I hope your evening is joyous.
Love in Christ,
Good afternoon sisters!
It's a rainy day but we are blessed to have a place to go sit in the public (marketplace witnessing we call it) and work online. Today I made an audio of a different kind of topic and hopefully it edifies you as much as it did for me to ponder it and share. (click the button below to hear it.)
Love in Christ to my Sisters who love Him,
Good day in the Lord!
I made an audio that I hope is a blessing to you as much as it blessed me to do it.
May the Lord watch over my sisters who love Him!
