Persisting in Sin

The Lord is merciful sisters!
Brother Tupos and I were out on the streets, preaching the gospel to the lost and saw this woman.  When we first saw her, she was standing in one spot, resting before she continued to walk on. She's hunched over, can hardly walk yet she will press on until she gets through the ticket gates and into her seat to participate in the sinful, carnal worldly activities going on.  The sad thing is, many people we saw today, claimed Christ and there's a good chance she might be one of them.  

Makes us think of such verses.....

Genesis 19:11 
And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

Proverbs 2:14 
Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;

Hosea 4:8 
They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.

People persisting in their sins for the lust of the flesh because they love this life so much more than God.   

Makes me think of Matthew 6 where Jesus said they have their reward but we saints know our reward is waiting for us.  

Colossians 3:23-25 
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; [24] Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. [25] But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

The world is lost but we can help them be found, if they want it.  Shine your light because you never know who's watching and will be looking to come out from among them.
