Here's a verse by verse in of Luke 10:40-42. I hope it's as edifying to you as it was for me to do it. The Lord be glorified.
Here's an audio I did, like a verse by verse we did in Proverbs 31, sharing the Hebrew meanings of the words and talking about this verse. Sister Aman
Greetings godly sister saints! I'm going through Proverbs 31 verses 10-31, verse by verse and sharing thoughts and meanings on them all. I hope it's as edifying to you as it is for me. (As I do them they will be placed here.) 🌻 Sister Aman 🌻
Below is the conclusion of the verse by verses with all the hebrew meanings that we discussed on the audios. Who or What man or woman or sister or seeker can find or aquire a virtuous- strong, mighty, efficient- woman? for her price- value is far and distant above rubies -precious stones. The heart (inner man) of her husband doth safely trust (have confidence, be secure as a refuge) in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil, (prey or plunder) She will do him good, (be pleasant, agreeable, gracious)and not evil (mischief, adversity) all the days of her life. She seeketh, is in pursuit of, searches for wool, and flax, linen, fiber, and worketh, produces, acts with effort willingly with pleasure, desire and delight with her hands. [14] She is like the merchants, pedlers and traders ships; she bringeth her food from a far, works hard for it. She riseth (gets up early in the morning)also while it is yet night, and giveth meat, (feeds food to) her household, and a portion to her maidens (Instead of them feeding her). [16] She considereth (ponders the details and wisdom of) a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands , (her work and efforts of labor) she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth (put on) her loins with strength, and strengtheneth (make solid, strong, hard,) her arms. She perceiveth (knows deep inside) that her merchandise (profit and gain) is good (pleasant and agreeable) : her candle (light, which would be her good works) goeth not out by night. [19] She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff (making the wool and fabric needed for clothing) . [20] She stretcheth (reaches) out her hand to the poor (humble and lowly); yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy (destitute / beggars). She is not afraid (doesn’t have fear or isn’t frightened) of the snow (winter or hardships from it) for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet (purple, fine linen) [22] She maketh (fashions or accomplishes) herself coverings of tapestry (bed spreads or coverlets); her clothing is silk (fine linen) and purple (good quality) [23] Her husband is known in the gates (the marketplace or public meeting), when he sitteth (remains and abides) among the elders (old and aged) of the land. [24] She maketh fine linen (sheet, linen wrapper), and selleth it ; and delivereth girdles (belts) unto the merchant (pedlar). Strength (Boldness, might, power) and honour (ornament of Splendor, glory, excellency) are her clothing (and what she wears); and she shall rejoice (laugh or mock or make sport of) the time to come. [26] She openeth her mouth with wisdom (Skillfully, and with shrewdness and discernment,); and in her tongue is the law (precept and instruction) of kindness (goodness, mercy, faithfulness). [27] She looketh well (she keeps watch and spies on) to the ways of her household, and eateth (consume it devours) NOT the bread of idleness (sluggishness or laziness).
