Greetings sister saints!
I hope you're all doing well and striving on in the Lord!
I did a word search on "Continue" and found some scriptures that can encourage us to "continue in" the things of the Lord.
I hope it encourages you...
Continue in the....
...Son and Father
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
1 Timothy 2:15
Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
1 Timothy 5:5
Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
1 Timothy 4:16
Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
2 Timothy 3:14
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them ;
Let brotherly love continue.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
1 John 2:19
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
1 John 2:24
Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
Don't continue in all these ...
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
Let us strive on in the Lord sisters for He is worthy!
Love in Him,
Greetings sister saints!
Glory to God for this day!
Thank you sister for sharing those pictures and I'm thankful to share them here for encouragement to others. I love that, being a vessel unto honour and meet for the masters use....AND...prepared unto every good work!
Do you love to work for the Lord?
Or is it a burden to you? (Obeying and keeping His commands.)
If it's a burden, you need to check your heart and see where your focus is, on you or Him?
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
I saw those flowers growing up through the little crack in the asphalt and it made me smile as they grew all around the pole. It made me think about us sisters pressing through everything and all being centered around Christ.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
We often share a lot of peaceful pictures and videos of our travels but this is a better depiction of what our life is. It's where the people are and it's where the GOSPEL can go out. We do that by putting signs on our van and being purposeful in witnessing and sharing everywhere we go. How are you doing about sharing this precious truth and light of Christ with the world?
As we were traveling, this beer truck passed us and the driver honked and waved at us because of our gospel signs and warning of the culture and man made religion. We smiled because the beer guy appreciates the truth yet the modern pastor and church goer calls the police on us, yells at us, spits at us (seems to be a common thing lately being spit at) and all not because of us, but because what we preach and share on the streets.
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
We stopped by a little produce stand on the way through a town and the gospel went out to the young woman and she sold us an ear of corn and a small onion. (I had to take this picture of the kohlrabi for my sisters:-) I used to love those, peeling the skin off with my teeth, while out in the garden working. Yep, got some dirt along with it but the insides were worth working for, awesome creation grown from the dust of the ground, that we (mankind) were made.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
He gave us the breath of life, how awesome is that?! And today we can have His Holy Spirit within us if we are in Christ!
Sharing some of God's amazing flower creations again lol, I can't stop doing that! Let's give Him glory for all things He created!
I thought this secular saying (I saw at a thrift store) had a good point and we see the basis of it in the scriptures also.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
1 Peter 4:12-13
We saw this tree in the parking lot of our parking spot for the night. I walked over to see if any of the apples were any good but they were all soft. Maybe a big wind blew them all down as there were storms lately but there are still more on the tree. What a fruitful tree! Let's learn from that and be the same sisters!
It's getting to be the end of our day and time to get more things done before we head off to go preach the gospel on the streets tomorrow, Lord willing. I hope my sisters rest up for if the Lord gives you another day.
Hold fast and seek the kingdom of God with all that you are.
Greetings in the Lord to my sisters who love Him!
I remember when I first learned about Hebrews 1 and how Christ, the Word made flesh, is how He speaks to us today through the scriptures. (I may have shared this already:) I learned about that scripture a few days before I encountered a 'woman pastor' who told me 'God told me there weren't enough men to stand up so He told me to do it'. I told her about Hebrews 1 and she said 'Oh I know where you're going but times change'. I told her that the Word of God never changes and that Romans 1 says we're not to be conformed to this world, not changing with the culture. She didn't want to hear so I told her I would bring my husband back to address it all. Brother Tupos and I went back a few weeks later and he tried to help her see truth also, but she screamed at us to get out of her store. (It was a resale shop.)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Let us examine to make sure we're not conforming to 'this world' as it's satan's kingdom. We're born into satan's kingdom and we have to be born into God's kingdom and that happens through the GOSPEL.
(Thank you sister for the scripture picture and encouraging one above. ) I love giving God our best in our days. A young brother in the Lord mentioned that he was seeing that we can be more faithful to our flesh than the Lord if we're not careful. Meaning that we can be focused on it, pampering it and taking care of it instead of being focused on the Lord, doing all things unto Him and being thankful.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
I'm so thankful to be a child of God and thankful to know those who are as well.
I went into a thrift store and on the way in I saw the man below.
It was raining out and he was keeping himself and his backpack dry. I told him that was a good idea and gave him a gospel card. A man that works inside was watching and he got a gospel card too.
I like to put gospel cards in books and when I saw this cookbook area it reminded me of all those that I used to have. Good and pure cookbooks aren't sinful but the result of having them could be if they become time consuming and a past time over and above the things of God. Just a reminder to us all that cooking is good, new recipes can be good but we all have to be careful how much extra time is used that could be used better for the Lord.
Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Time is short, we are to be Christ and kingdom focused, not self and flesh focused. Amen sister saints!?
I also went into a grocery store (that was super fancy, well to me at least), that's a picture of their food court. I was looking for opportunities to witness and right off got to share a gospel card with a woman that was looking at the same item I was. A male worker got a gospel card when he helped me with something. Then an older woman was stocking shelves and I walked over and complimented her on how well the store was taken care of and we began talking about how many choices there are and prices etc. I brought up how it was less complicated back then, gave her a gospel card and explained how this is satans kingdom, trying to distract people. We talked about how dark it was and she said it's going to get worse and who can have any hope? I shared that the bible tells what's going to happen and shared the hope with her. I was greatly rejoicing to share the truth!
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
2 Thessalonians 2:16
The Lord blessed us with some super incredible deals on healthy foods. I'm blessed to be a godly woman as I love that job in so many ways.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Yesterday I shared a couple videos, one of a storm and one of the light of the sunset coming through the clouds, today I'll share a dark video of a travel we had to do at night over a big river....
And also a video of the light.
I'm so glad to be in the light as a daughter of the most high and not living in the darkness any longer!!!
And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Let's us sisters rejoice in Him, every day, for all He's done.
I exhort you to press on sisters and I'm here to help you!
Greetings sister saints!
It's been a long while since I've been able to post here:) the Lord keeps us super busy on the road, in van life, in other online ministry and such so it's a blessing to come here. You can see our daily audio edification HERE, we do them every night, Lord willing we will keep doing them as long as we can or unless the ministry changes to doing something else.
I was pondering this, the relationship between older saints and younger ones. We've seen in our years, many flesh issues between saints when it came to receiving instruction, help, encouragement, rebuke etc. Pride rises up and then it turns to destruction, causing division that shouldn't be there.
Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
1 Timothy 5:1-2
I'll skip over the part of the men cuz brother Tupos can address that and go into deeper details on it all but let's look at the part for women. So the younger women are to look at the elder women as mothers. Think about the respect that a younger woman would give her mother (if she was in the faith) and how much flesh she would kill for her as she receives correction and instruction, how much more for the spiritual mother? And older women looking at the younger women as daughters, having patience and long suffering as they try to learn or grow through the battle of youthful flesh. Of course we would all be sisters, not one more important than the other and eventually the younger growing into being the older and so on the process goes. Don't you think that would kill a lot of flesh and allow for much more spiritual growth? I pray that those we've known through the years, repent of all their pride in such areas and see the blessing of the family of Christ and how we all press one another along. It's all for the glory of God.
I made an audio bible reading of Proverbs 8 this morning (you can find them all HERE) and was pondering this part of it, mainly verse 9.
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
They are plain to him that understand.
Pretty simple isn't it? And it goes along with this also....
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Verse 43 shows us that those who are not of God cannot hear His word. The wisdom of God is plain to those who understand and to understand we need to be of Him. I'm sharing this because it's a simple test to see who is of God and who isn't, sisters. Remember that, just because someone says they love Jesus and maybe looks and acts somewhat like a sister should, we still test to see if they can hear and understand and love His word. Remember in John 3 how people who love Him come to the light in all things and those who don't, run and hide. (Changing subjects, not obeying, making excuses for sin, not repenting when shown etc....) Don't be fooled, satan is a master deceiver and he can use those who are his to look like those who are of God.
A sister said that she read there are over 350,000 different kinds of flowers and to remember that all of mankind is different too...not one the same. That's incredible, not one person is an exact replica of another, does that not show us the greatness of God?!
It won't be long and the fall flowers will be out, reminding us van dwellers that it will be time to migrate south, along with the weather, just as the birds do. I used to (in my youth) think that God put magic in birds cuz I couldn't figure out how they knew where to go and how to fly without crashing into one another. Schools would tell you that there's some magnetic field that draws the birds and that they follow that but I never believed it. I knew God created them so He must have put something in them...I grew to realize it wasn't magic but miracles and how creation is a miracle itself being created by the Word.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
...and God said....
I love that and have marveled over that since I was a child. I didn't know anything of the bible except some of Genesis that God created (by saying) the world, the 'stories' they tell you in Sunday school and that Christ died for our sins. Seemed to be a great God to me, that could 'say' the world into existence. That made me curious about Him and who He was and caused much pondering through my life until the day I was given the precious GOSPEL which changed my life forever. Go back and click on that word GOSPEL in red....read it, test yourself to it and see if by faith in Christ you repented are born again/ born from above, because you must be in order to enter the kingdom of God. And then I'm here to help you strive in holiness and obedience all the way until the end.
It's only July and I see a few leaves changing color, falling and dying. What a good reminder that some day our earthly tents will also be dying and are we ready for what's on the other side?
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Let us strive to hear that sister, not this....
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
I'm thankful to be a godly woman and work with my hands doing things like sewing.
Drying clothes that I hand washed.
Getting water from the sink, one cup at a time (7 for each gallon lol:), walking them across the parking lot, dumping them into the tank and going back several more times. All the while thanking the Lord for allowing us to have it but more so the living water of Christ, of which we will never thirst.
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
I love her immediate faith and then she runs into town (leaving her waterpot) telling all the men and they come to see for themselves.
I was able to help a young brother learn a simple meal to cook.
1 package pre-cooked rice
1 can mixed veggies
Dump together, heat, strain, eat.
That's his first meal in the little cooker and he said it's really good.
I bought a new cooker....toasting cooker lol. It makes 2 big sandwiches in no time and runs on the generator with no problem with power to spare! The men really like them and I love being able to make healthy, inexpensive, wholesome, filling meals.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
I was so thankful to find that huge container of magnesium. I've purchased that brand in smaller containers (hard to find that in the walmarts of either the large or small) and it's pricey in the little containers so for $5 on discount, I was rejoicing and thankful. I can't just order things online cuz it's hard to find a place to get it shipped and not knowing where we will be etc. We use magnesium a lot and it seems to help us get through the days with these old tents. God provides so many things over and above just food and raiment of which we should be content with.
I thought that was cute and peaceful. We used to have all sorts of old things on the homestead and I even used them. Just today brother Tupos was saying how they make things so cheap today and I mentioned that the days of old used to have good quality, things were made to last. Today it's a throw away society and hard to find something of quality.
Sadly people do that with the word of God, toss it away and look for something new and different...hey I just read this the other day....
(For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)
The only new thing I want to hear is something from God's word that I didn't know! It's never changing, I love that because once we learn it, it's not going to be rewritten and confuse us, like man's writings and teachings.
Well sisters, I've enjoyed sharing here today and now have to go do some Titus 2 things like getting dinner done, getting the dry clothes put away, getting my van swept and tidied up and then later packing it all up to go find a parking spot. Then later will come an edification audio, Lord willing, we live that long:)
Love and hugs to you all, every where, all over the world and to those I know, those I don't know and those who are cut off for whatever reason. The Lord is watching over us all as we serve Him.
Hold fast and the Lord be glorified in our lives as we live for Him.
Glory to God!
Greetings sister saints!
I don't don't post all my sisters audios in here (you can find them all HERE) but this one I wanted to put with the video and some pictures of where I was when I made it. I know it will all bless you:-)
