Greetings sisters! I hope you are all striving on, rejoicing in our Savior! Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; I thought I'd share some simple witnessing to encourage you. I was going into the store and saw an older woman raising money for veterans by offering flags and things. I offered her a gospel card and although she was kind and thanked me, she was very distracted by the people going by so I kept it short. If she wanted more truth about the gospel or the warning about man made religion, she could have asked and I would have shared more but either way, she took the card and put it in her bag. (Note that she was selling things so I offered her something free:) ![]()
Every situation is different...such as some people will continue to look at you so you can say more, some will tell you they claim to be of Christ and you can ask them about it and expound the truth to them but in her case she was kind but not wanting to look at me so I kept it short and she can read the card later. After that I walked to another store and while I was going in, I held the door for another woman. She thanked me but slipped away before I could offer her a card and I didn't see her again in the store. I went to the checkout with one item and was in line when I had to go back for something else and when I got back to the line, a woman told me she held my spot. After I checked out I gave the cashier a gospel card and the woman that held my spot and they were both smiling and thanking me. I went to the van to put my things away and decided to go back and get more of what I had just bought (I'll share below in the post). I walked to the door and guess who was holding the door for me? That same woman I held the door for so I got to give her a gospel card and she was very thankful:) We then traveled down the road a bit and I went into a thrift store and found something I've been searching a while for and went to check out. The man at the register seemed a bit challenged and maybe wasn't having a good day but he had a big smile and big thank you when I gave him the gospel card. Sometimes we get more times to talk to people and sometimes it's just a matter of giving them the gospel card (in both situations we give gospel cards) the path to eternal life (see that HERE) and we also offer many resources on our website to help those seeking. I hope that encourages you sisters that not all witnessing has to be big events, long conversations, people getting mad, etc. We give people the truth in writing and offer the teachings on our website to point them in the right direction, to the word of God and out of the culture and out of man made religion. We stopped at a park this afternoon to work online and before we were going to leave, I took a walk and when I returned there was an older man talking to brother Tupos. After brother shared a lot of truth with him, the man went to his vehicle and brought back some tracts he uses and he said something like....'It's good to have the gospel to give to people because then God will do what He does with it.' He works in us and through our works to help others! Hebrews 13:20-21 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. "Make you perfect in every good work to do His will'....that's what we want isn't it sisters? That's why we share all we know so that others can learn and grow while doing His will, all to His glory! We're at the town of our preach tomorrow, Lord willing we will be going out and sharing this precious truth with anyone who is interested. Job 13:17 Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears. I love that:-) We saw this sign today and I thought I'd post it and see if you can figure out all the things that are unbiblical about it and I'll do a separate post on it soon. God's creation is amazing and I'm thankful to see all the different flowers He made, especially along the roadside as we drive. A quick Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 moment...I found something that's a great blessing in van life, some packets of already cooked hamburger for $1.25 each (natural ingredients) and plenty for a meal for us both. That's what I went back into the store to buy when I met back up with that woman who I held the door for and wanted to give her a gospel card the first time! And get this....we were just talking about getting more protein in our diet and I found these. God takes care of His people in so many ways, from giving another chance for giving out the gospel to helping with kitchen duties:) He knows all things and He cares. Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Another godly woman thing to share that might make you smile. Those of you who are super frugal and have something in mind that you want, will appreciate that sometimes it takes a long time of being patient but knowing at some point you will find it for a great deal. That would be this plate for $1.99, made of lightweight durable ceramic like material and fits in the microwave perfectly. (I found others but they were all decorated and I wanted something plain so I waited patiently for a long time.) This plate is what I was buying at the thrift store when the gospel made that man smile. I could care less about the plate when it comes to sharing the gospel, but we do have earthly things we need to do, making sure to be a Mary more than a Martha:) Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Time for me to go and get ready for going out on the streets tomorrow to preach the gospel at a festival and then we have travel afterwards so I'm not sure I'll be on here but I'm sure we will have other edification for you in the audio edification or a preach post but let's see what our day brings. Either way, know that we love the saints worldwide and want you to keep striving on for the Lord, as He is worthy! Love to you all, in Christ Jesus, Sister Aman Good morning sister saints! We're thankful that the Lord blessed us with another day to serve Him. We're at the marketplace for a little while, working online ministry and fishing for men. (Oftentimes people will see our bible and stop to talk.) And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4:19 We all drop much of our lives when we come to Christ, losing family, friends, careers, homes, lifestyles etc. Not everyone loses the same things but all lose in some way or another....but does any of that really matter? Let's go to one of my favorite verses... Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ Philippians 3:8 It's all dung sisters. All of it in the scope of eternity because.... For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 1 Timothy 6:7 Is there anything worth holding on to and losing our souls over? For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Matthew 16:26-27 We ask people that all the time.... What's worth losing your soul over? We were out on the streets at a festival yesterday, (you can see that HERE) standing for the Lord and His truth, calling people to repentance and to come to this glorious Savior, Jesus Christ, through the GOSPEL. I always reflect after such things, seeing the masses walk by and either ignore or take a gospel card but continue on in their idle day. I try not to wonder what they do with the truth or the warnings or the light that is shined in their dark day, because that's the Lord's business and we just keep going on in our lives, doing what the Lord has us do, being who He created us to be and seeing what happens next :-) I thought this was interesting....a couple women were handing out (unbiblical) sabbath day materials. One took a gospel card and brother Tupos quickly explained that he can prove that the sabbath is not eternal. He told them there would be no need of the sun because the Son (Jesus) will be the light. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 22:5 They listened for a couple minutes then walked away as a man walked up and wanted to talk about what he read on the gospel card. Brother Tupos was talking to him (he was actually a pastor and surprisingly it was a really nice talk) and while they were discussing the lies of man made religion and what the truth really is, that woman who didn't get a gospel card (one of the two who were handing out the unbiblical Sabbath material) snuck up and motioned me for one. She took it and I saw her reading it as she walked away. That brought me great joy because she was the one that seemed interested (of the two). Many gospel cards went out and there were several quick conversations of which we were able to warn them of the lies they are in. Praise God, I rejoice, but I leave all the rest with the Lord because we can't be worried about the seeds that are planted. And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. Mark 4:26-27 Keep that in mind sisters, as we go about serving the Lord in the life He has called us. He has His saints where He wants us all, doing what He wants us to do and we don't know what He's doing with all our works but let us do them with zeal and joy unto Him, leaving all the seeds behind us and letting the Lord do His works with them. We were blessed to see an awesome sunset from the Lord the other day. I also wanted to share these...glory to God. I hope your day is joyous in the Lord, seeking to serve Him in spirit and truth.d Sister Aman with Brother Tupos Good day in the Lord, sister saints! I made an audio about a couple witnessing opportunities I had because I didn't stifle the Spirit and pushed the boundaries a little bit. Maybe that will encourage some of you also. ![]()
To God be the glory in all we do....it's not of us or for us or because of us....it's all of Him, for Him and because of Him. 1 John 5:3-7 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Let us all walk in the Spirit today, pressing one another on. Sister Aman Good afternoon sisters! I made an audio about loving not only our neighbor but your enemy and share a witnessing story with you. I hope it encourages and edifies you. Sister Aman ![]()
Greetings to my godly holy sister saints! I made that picture to show some of the characteristics of a godly woman. How strengthening it is to read such words and rejoice that we are fulfilling them or be convicted that we need to be working harder at some. Either way it's a great blessing to have these precious words to help guide us. We're so blessed to have His precious word to gorify Him, sharpen ourselves, encourage one another and reach out to the lost. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 He came to set us free from satan to serve Him, what a glorious savior! But that only comes to those who are willing to lay down their lives and be born from above through the biblical gospel which you can test yourself to HERE. And once you are, you have a burning desire to give that truth with all those who were lost like we were. I'll share a story about doing just that, today. This morning I pulled up a grocery store app to see if there were any sales on yogurt and saw there might be some possibilities when I combine them with my cash back app. The store was a block away from where we parked last night so it was decided that I would walk over and brother Tupos would bring the van over. I wandered the store just a bit here and there looking for opportunities to share the gospel when I saw a woman giving out samples of iced coffee, so I headed right over. I asked her what that was all about and she went on to explain the samples (giving me a little cup of some to try), telling me which kind most people like etc. We talked for a bit and I took out a gospel card, she took it and I warned her about man made religion. She commented that she's non denomination and that they teach right from the bible and she would never be deceived. I could clearly see she was deceived not only physically but also that she doesn't see through all the sins of those places. I told her about Revelation 22:14-15 about loving and practicing just one lie with leave you outside the gates of heaven and then proceeded to list a few of them. She began to get upset at me and I felt led to push the issue a bit further for God's glory and her soul was on the line. It ended up getting a bit heated from her so I ended the conversation and walked on to get my yogurt. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1:3 They didn't have what I was looking for but I found this deal. Just one but I'm thankful for it. But it's not about the yogurt, although it's a nice deal to get paid to eat yogurt...more importantly was being willing and able to share the gospel, looking for those opportunities to do so. The focus is witnessing and on the side is getting my things I came for. Let that be a good focus for us sisters....when you go out in the world, make sure you're Christ centered and the gospel giving is on your mind more than the errands you have to do or the items you have to buy. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:20 Don't get so wrapped up in this world and what you have to do that you lose sight of why you are here in the first place. Be Mary not Martha. Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. [39] And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. [40] But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. [41] And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: [42] But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. Luke 10:38-42 Ponder that. "Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her". What can we put between us and 'the good part which shall not be taken away'? House, family, husband, children, belongings, groceries, clean floors and windows, freedom and so much more we would be here all day listing them. Not that we shouldn't care for or do what must be done in the lives of a godly woman but we need to (and I do this often) stop and look at what we are doing and for who? If it's for the Lord, we will make sure He's the focus and not be side tracked and miss opportunities to share the gospel or be a good witness or rejoice in Him. If it's for our flesh (like putting such things listed above as more important) then we're not ready, we forget, we get distracted etc. It's a constant battle and reminder to keep our focus rightly directed. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 One good way to do that is to first put on your Ephesians 6 armor (listen to brother Tupos audio HERE on that) and then start your trip off by finding a way to share the gospel even if it's putting a gospel card someplace. I often go to the book section and put one in it, praying the Lord will use it to help someone out of the darkness and into the light. Yep, they might just toss it out but it was glorifying to God, it put you in the mindset to share and think of others over and above yourself in what you need to do and we don't know what seeds are planted. Another way to get yourself focused is to share the gospel and truth and scriptures and encouragement online. I say that because if you are reading this, then there's absolutely no reason what so ever that you cannot be sending some light and truth out in a dark world every day. That glorifies God, edifies saints and encourages seekers. It's better to give than to receive amen? If you go online and receive encouragement from us at dontperish.com and maybe other sisters who are truly set apart, called out ekklesia...why are you not doing the same? And sending out the gospel to those who might come across you like maybe you came across us and others? Ponder that lest you be hiding your light under a basket and it's our reasonable service. What are you doing for the kingdom of God and your neighbor today? Let me know how I can help encourage you in the ways of godly women and sharing it with others. To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. Romans 16:27 Strive on in all truth! Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Luke 13:24 Love in Him, Sister Aman |
