Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: As one of the sand storms here got worse, darkening the sun through the day, I was thinking about the sun being darkened in the end times that are coming. I hope the true saints of God are preparing for what's ahead, spiritually more than physically. We meet people claiming Christ and their houses are stocked with bulk amounts of foods, extra gas stored for their vehicles, various heating and cooking sources, water storage or capabilities of filtering it, places to run to etc but their spiritual resources are sorely lacking, making their physical resources worth dung if they don't repent before then. Even if the full end times don't come in our life time, our death is. Death is an end time as well. It's an end of our time here on this earth in the physical flesh, what will become of the spiritual man if one isn't prepared? Test yourself HERE to the gospel. Repent, lose your life, cry out to God for a new heart, new life, and the Holy Spirit so you can walk in holiness and obedience, following after Him. 2 Peter 3:12-14 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. Everything in your well stocked pantry, your kitchen gadgets, your closets full of supplies, your gardens etc will be destroyed and worth nothing some day. They are corruptible....seek that which is incorruptible. Matthew 6:19-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Let us all check our hearts to make sure that it's not on anything of the earth but set on the kingdom of God.
Love to the saints worldwide, Sister Aman On our travels across the country preaching the gospel, we're in an out of stores, on corners, walking down sidewalks, crossing parking lots etc and a long the way we often find things that we might be able to use for something. I'll explain what I mean and share some things with you in the physical aspect then at the end of the post brother Tupos and I will have an audio for the spiritual aspect. That picture is what made me think about doing this post. We were at a free campground that welcomes travelers for several days and offers water and electricity. I looked out the window and saw how brother Tupos made that electrical cord stay in place and I laughed and said 'Hey, you always have something for something' and he laughed, knowing what I meant. (He always comes up with something to do something that needs to be done.) I thought sharing this post with some ideas of how to do something for something might bring you a smile and maybe some thoughts of your own on how you can do the same both physically and spiritually. Click the picture below to see how brother Tupos had something to fix something that needed to be done on my gospel Titus 2 cart. We were in a laundromat and I saw how someone did something for something that needed to be done about blowing their heat and cooling air around so they attached a fan to it. One of our chairs that we use to sit outside needed something done to hold the fabric on so brother Tupos had something to fix it. We had to do something about how uncomfortable those chairs are so we had something to give them more cushion and something to tilt them back a bit so they're a bit more comfortable to use. Brother Tupos had to do something on the van and he needed something to extend the reach of a tool.... Not long before that, I found something (that piece of metal) and asked brother if he wanted it and he said I'm sure I can use it for something....and he did! We went through a very cold spell and brother Tupos has steel toes in his boots which makes them really cold. We needed something to warm them up... We had something to do it with. (A little heater:-) During that same cold spell, we were all tucked away in the van, plugged into electricity at another free campground and we needed to do something about how cold our feet were getting.... We had something that fixed something that needed to be done: blankets made into a tent and putting the heater under it:-) This mechanic shop needed something to advertise their oil changes.... So they had some things welded together to make something that will catch people's eye and advertise their business. Sometimes our parking spot is pretty slopey.... ...and I need to do something about it so I used to use towels to prop up my side of the bed but they kept rolling up as I slept so I had something better to take care of something that needed to be done. I took a bunch of our gospel signs and put them toward the lower part of the bed to prop it up a bit, level it out, and it worked great. Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. Now I want to share the spiritual side of something for something in this audio that I asked brother Tupos to do with me. Listen in HERE and be blessed.
Sister Aman I received a wonderful gift from my godly husband who truly lives up to his name Tupos (example) and wanted to bless you by hearing it. ![]()
A while ago I did a series of verse by verse teachings through Proverbs 31 that you can find HERE. Today I posted another Titus 2 / Proverbs 31 encouragement post HERE. Most of all go HERE to test yourself to the biblical gospel. All the glory goes to our Father which is in heaven as we are nothing without Him. Let all godly women strive to be worth more than rubies to not only our husbands but more so to glorify God.
Hold fast and seek the kingdom! Aman Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. Here's another audio on lessons learned from women in the Bible and this time it's about Eve. I hope it's a blessing to you as much as it was for me to do it:-) The Lord be glorified in all we do! Praises to the Lord for giving us another day! As we were traveling from one town to the next, I made an audio and asked brother Tupos to share in it also, you can find that HERE. It's called 'Calling Bluffs and Proving all Things'. I saw that in a store while I did a witness walk and thought about how they took all the scriptures and used them to prop themselves up. Although there's truth to it, they neglect the rest of God's word just like they do with many of the other "feel good" messages they put on cups and plates and pictures and shirts and hats etc. I wrote a post about this topic HERE, warning women to be very careful sharing such things with people who aren't walking in all truth. I'll share the entire verses: Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Ephesians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: [4] According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Colossians 1:13-14 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: [14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Did you notice while reading those verses, whoever made that notebook or diary, focused on man. It basically is saying ... I am strong I am chosen I am brave I am free I am forgiven I am complete I am holy I am redeemed I am victorious Go back and read the verses in context and see how they miss the whole point of the focus being on Christ for what HE did and we can only be those things THROUGH Him. That all comes from being born from above through the gospel which you can test yourself to HERE. It's just like Satan to use God's word to lift up man over Christ. Let us lift up Christ over and above all because: John 15:4-8 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. We are nothing without Him! Hold fast and abide in Christ who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords and be ready because He's coming back to do this.... 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; The Lord be glorified!
