I hope you are all pressing on! Philippians 3:14-15 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. I saw that sunflower and thought about how vibrant and vigorous they are even in extreme situations of no water. I was also thinking, as I was looking at the dry brown grass, that it's so strong that it can survive without water for long periods of time and then when it gets a little water, it quickly springs back to life, turning green and healthy. It makes me think of us saints....we can go and go and go, draining ourselves to the point we need to be refilled with the living water and even just a little of it can spring us quickly back to life with energy and zeal from the Lord. Contrary to grass and sunflowers that can't water themselves, we saints can partake of the living water at any time to remain vibrant and thriving, in Him! I hope you all run to the living water and be refreshed and filled with His truth. We're heading out to a preach tomorrow, Lord willing, maybe there might be someone with ears to hear but no matter what, the Lord is being glorified as we (and you, wherever you are) stand for Him, not wavering or turning back to love this world. Here's a warning.... 2 Timothy 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. He loved the present world (satan's kingdom) and all it has to offer, let that not be so of us for He is worthy of our entire lives. Mark 8:36-37 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? The sunset was beautiful tonight but unfortunately it might be because of all the smoke from the fires out west. We've experienced how awful that smoke can be, so bad it burns your eyes and you can't hardly breathe, not seeing very far in front of you while driving. That's nothing compared to eternal hellfire for those who don't lose their life for Christ. Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Hold fast sister saints and rejoice in all things as you do it all for the Lord.
Love to you in Christ, who is our everything! Sister Aman Good day sister saints! I hope your day is going well and you are holding fast the faith once delivered....not twice delivered or 45,000 times like we see in American churchianity that created all sorts of flavors of it. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. We were in a parking lot the other day, getting ready to leave when a woman pulled up in a car. I got out and she said "I want you to have these".... She immediately turned around and was getting in the car, not saying another word as I was offering a gospel card. She took it, shut the door and took off. It was strange and I don't understand it but, whatever, maybe Satan wants people to sit and use their time trying to ponder such things but I refuse to waste my time on that and instead redeem it for the Lord. He knows all things, He can deal with it. It does show, once again, the mindset of American so called Christians. Bumper stickers of: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Hey guess what? In my lost, confused life going to the Lutheran church but not understanding it, I knew we had to believe but I also knew there had to be more because it didn't make sense that Christ died and we had to do nothing but believe. That woman certainly wasn't willing to talk about it so that bumper sticker would do nothing for anyone except let them think they are going to heaven if they just believe in Jesus. Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. I ask, what good would that bumper sticker do for someone? Paired with the previous one it would make a person think if they just believe in Jesus that they get to take of the water of life without any repentance, being born again, obedience or endurance. I totally understand you can't have everything on a sign or a sticker or a card but at the very least if you fly such things on your vehicle, you should be willing to back it up by talking and take a person further. That woman had nothing to say about the Lord or His truth but just handed off something to me. It might be a bit different if she handed me a gospel card or some literature or something but even then she should have been able to talk about the Lord and His truth. Something to think about sisters, even if you have a gospel card that shows the path to eternal life and maybe some warnings about the culture or false churchianity, be ready to talk about it. What would that say if you gave someone a gospel card and they wanted to talk but you either walked away or were not studied to explain it all to them? 2 Timothy 4:1-2 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; [2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. If you hand me one, be ready to talk a while because I'll test you to the word and help you where you lack and I hope you would do the same for me. How about you? Are you ready? Are you working hard to be ready? I hope so....and think about this, you may run into some of the people we've shared truth with and you would be echoing it all and maybe it might help plant seeds deeper in a person. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Study, be earnest, be diligent to be able to rightly divide the word and help a lost soul seeking truth. Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 time... I sewed a tunic for brother Akouo and we were able to give it to him last night when we rolled back into the town he is in for the summer. Hand sewing has it's challenges but it's literally less stress than having a sewing machine. Of course I could sew that up in about 10 minutes with a machine and it took about an hour or so by hand but I have freedom to not have to worry about jammed needles, wrong thread tension and a space to put the machine etc. It's quiet, peaceful and satisfying. Clean clothes are really satisfying too aren't they?! I do a lot of hand washing but I save up the bigger things and do a batch every so often and then hang them to dry while we drive. We were in a town and I went into the laundrymat and saw the cheapest washer was $6.50 so we left and we went to another one along the way which was $2.50. It pays to be patient and shop around, being wise with our resources, amen? Speaking of which, I want to show you what the value of $1 is if you can shop around. (I had this picture in my phone and can't remember if I shared it already but if so, it's another good reminder.) I know that some areas are more pricey than others but we travel the country enough and I've lived in many different states and cat attest that you CAN find really good deals wherever you go, unless you live in a tiny town and rarely get out much. In that case you have options of buying bulk staples (in store or online) for great deals and then use some of that savings to be able to pay a bit more for produce etc. Been there done that too. I can't believe the prices people pay for things today, just to have convenience or snack foods. I see women grabbing $4-5 bags of chips and tossing a few in their carts then moving on to the soda aisle and putting in a few cases, then going to the pre-made foods and putting in a handful of meals that run a minimum of $12 for the cheap ones. Even if you have a lot of money, is it wise to do so? Something to think about... When we met up with brother Akouo last night we gave him a box of foods we found at dent bents (discount grocery stores) and he shared some discounted foods he found, with us, here are a couple unusual ones. I'm sharing this because most people don't travel like we do and can come across such a wide variety of good deals on such unique things but wanna know something? I used to make all sorts of snacks on the homesteads; crackers (chia, flax, almond etc), roasted nuts, seeds, chickpeas, beans etc. There's not much that you can buy, that you can't make if you really wanted to, and inexpensively also. Just sharing some keeper of the home thoughts to encourage you. We saw that sign while in a grocery store, looking at their sale and discount items:-) Interesting how it's a good thing in the culture to cover your hair so it doesn't fall into the food but you're crazy if you cover it for God. Something to ponder if you're struggling with covering your glory for the Lord. Don't be conformed to the world, go read the old testament and see that the women there covered, as in the new and today we should too. Conform to the Word, not the world of satan. Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. I get emails from women asking how they balance covering their head vs pleasing their husband who doesn't want her to. What do you say about that sisters? Do you obey God or man? Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. To not cover your head / glory on a constant basis (not just in 'church' as the heretics say) is a sin. If you sin for your husband, you are held accountable for it. God's not going to put your blame on your husband... you will be held accountable for it and because I love you, I would hold you to that command as well, not fellowshipping with you until we went over it all and you understood and obeyed. That's love sisters, holding us to the word of God. On this topic, I made an audio with some thoughts, including headcovering, clothing and rebellion, to encourage us.
As I type this, we're in a big parking lot, going to be here a few hours catching up online then going to stand out on a public sidewalk (and preach the GOSPEL) at a place that's bringing in a woman that says she can bring messages from dead loved ones. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord : and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Let's see how that preach goes and I think brother Tupos and I might be doing our daily audio on that topic so be sure to look HERE for it. It's time for me to go get more things done sisters. I hope your day was fruitful in the Lord and that you are strong with His Ephesians 6 armor! Keep it on!!! Love to you all, in Christ who is our Saviour and Lord and Master! Sister Aman Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. Greetings sister saints! I've been pondering how precious the truth is. It's hidden from those who are not His but to those who have been born from above (born again), it's so precious. (See the biblical gospel HERE and test yourself to see if you truly are a child of God or are deceived by the lies of Satan.) John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. See what 'HEAR' means... Brother Akouo would be happy to expound on that! We live in such a spiritually deaf world, it's a joy to know those who aren't and that love the Lord. I have to go now but Lord willing will be back tomorrow (in a slower day perhaps) to share more as we aren't traveling and will be in this town for a while. Hold fast sister saints and look at one day at a time cuz that's all He's given us.
Love to the saints worldwide who love the Lord. Sister Aman Greetings to you all who love the Lord and call upon His name. 1 Corinthians 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: It's morning (as I start this post to be later finished) and I can hear the birds singing and the generator humming while it charges up everything I can plug in:). I love the peacefulness of His creation but I'm also thankful for some of the man made things we have so we can keep moving down the road and preaching the gospel. While we were out preaching at a baseball game the other night (you can see that post HERE) I had a perfect spot along the walls that carried my voice down the sidewalk to the people coming and also an opening in the wall where people were walking by after getting their tickets, to go sit and watch the game. I was preaching about what Jesus said here ... Matthew 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. What God has planted will be rooted up. Sports being one (since we were standing outside a stadium) Entertainment Politics Patriotism Pride Vanity Idleness And not only that of the flesh (and more) but false doctrines and lies of man made religion who uses the name of Christ, mixing the holy with their profane ways. Something like this ... Leviticus 20:1-3 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name. We're off to go preach the gospel now, outside a church (calling out their unbiblical ways) and then a so called Christian music event that's doing the same. God is going to root them all up and those who love and practice their lies. We want no blood on our hands (read Ezekiel 33) so we go and share the truth. Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. See that warning again in chapter 22 also. It's another day, today, as I finish this post and I'm sure you know how that goes, starting something and then having to put it on hold for a bit until you can get back to it:). I've been thinking about how this life isn't ours and neither is our time and we just do what is in front of us and rejoice in it all. And I hope you are doing just that, rejoicing in the Lord, focusing on Him and what He has for you in your life. James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. We will receive the crown of life if we endure!!! We were parked right across the street from the entrance to the baseball stadium so it was the perfect preach for Parking, People and Public (3 p's for preachers) and I saw just down the road a few blocks was a grocery store so I looked up the ads. We had a couple hours until the people would come so I walked down there and got some hotdogs and cheese on sale for $2.50 total. Guess what was for dinner (using the waffle bread, you can find that recipe HERE :)) Hotdogs are a treat to have for quick meals when we're super busy and I'm just thankful for them. While I was at the store, I offered the 2 women at the checkout, a gospel card but they didn't want one (they were polite about it). I did what I was supposed to do, trying to share truth and God takes care of the rest. I have a few coffee mugs that I want to replace so we've been looking and brother Tupos found this one today:-) For my gardening sisters. These are growing on the plants that are for sale outside the store:-). I'm sure some of you have already canned some fruits or made some jams and are ready to do the same with vegetables. I hope the Lord gives / gave you all a prosperous garden but most of all, prosperous in the faith if you nurture it! 3 John 1:2-4 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. I found these compartment containers and I enjoy packing them with either various fruits or veggies etc and they end up being great for quick lunches and snacks. I saw this leaf and thought of how fast time flies and it'll be fall soon, with us having to migrate with the weather as it changes. Things like that remind us of verses like this: Ephesians 5:15-16 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, [16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Colossians 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. ...and this.... John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. I'm off to do some more works that need to be done before the end of the night and before we can rest but I'll share some random pics with you first:-) Love to you all, in Christ who is All!!! Sister Aman Greetings sister saints! Philippians 4:1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. We flew gospel signs this morning on a busy intersection, you can see the entire post HERE with audios and videos from both brother Tupos and I. He talked about recreation vs re-creation so we shared a bunch of pics of all the recreation things going by us. I included my video and audio in this post in case you can't get to the other post. Habakkuk 2:13 Behold, is it not of the Lord of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity? Brother Akouo shared that verse in regard to the vanity of recreation in America and as I type this, we are sitting across the street from the entrance of a baseball field where they will be going at it later today and we'll be sharing the truth with them as they go in. Job 35:13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it. I saw this little chippy on the corner while flying signs, what a cute creation from the Almighty Creator! We have some travel after our preach tonight, to get into position for a couple preaches tomorrow, Lord willing. I'll leave you with the video and audio from this morning, to hopefully encourage you.
In godly love, holding you to the truth, praying you don't waver and fall away.
Christ is worthy! Sister Aman |
