Parents are to be the teachers of the children so we are offering simple posts that parents can expound upon.
We saw this worm trying to make his way across the parking lot. How amazing that God created such creatures! The worm is called an earth worm and we know that God created the earth and all that is on it. The worms live in the dirt and you can often find them when you lift up a rock or log. They are good for fertilizing the earth which means they are good in gardens. Birds like to eat them and they can be used for fishing. Let us give thanks to God for all He created!
By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord : let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done ; he commanded, and it stood fast. (Psalm 33:6-9) You might enjoy seeing more of God's creation. These birds are called 'killdeer'. You will see in the videos how one bird sits on the nest and the other bird pretends to be hurt so that the predator will come after them and away from the nest. Then as the predator gets closer to the bird pretending to be hurt, it runs further away from the nest, luring the predator away from harming the eggs in the next. How amazing that God created them to be able to do that! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. (Romans 11:34-3)
Let us give thanks to God for all things He created. We though maybe you want to see some of the shells we saw from Florida. ![]() The picture above is of a star fish. There are many different kinds that God created. ![]() The shell above looks like what they call a 'rough scallop'. The picture above is of a sand dollar. This one above looks like a conch shell. Maybe you know this but God created the earth, the seas, the sky, the sun, the moon, all animals and sea creatures! Inside these shells were small creatures, all created by God. I'm sure you may have seen more kinds of shells and maybe you can draw and color some of your own. Let us give thanks to God, who created all things.
For every house is builded by some man ; but he that built all things is God. Hebrews 3:4 |
