Hello sister saints. The other day I was in the store flying my gospel sign on my shopping basket. A man walked up to me and asked to read my sign. He read each line and I said "That's the gospel, the good news, the path to eternal life! Here let me give you a gospel card, my husband is a preacher and he would love to hear from you." The man thanked me then asked if he could ask me a question. (It's hard to understand on the audio but he was saying that we're to trust God but aren't we supposed to trust our spouses also?)
I'm sharing this, at the prompting of brother Tupos, to use it as a learning lesson how we sisters can share some truth with men but then turn it over to the spiritual authority in our lives. We sisters want to be careful when witnessing to men (not going too far into doctrine or teaching) but we also don't want to be fearful of it. We can answer questions and share biblical truth, we just have to be careful as we don't want to come off as cold and rude or unknowing and we don't want to come off as a feminist going too far and we can trust that the Holy Spirit will guide us. There are too many situations to go into details on how far a sister can go or what should be said but as opportunities arise we can use them for teaching moments. Here's another example of a witnessing opportunity from a while ago at a farmers market. I'll try to remember to share when I have those opportunities so we can all learn from or how to do it better. I'm constantly examining how I witness, and asking brother Tupos to test me also, because I just want to do the best I can for the Lord. It all comes through practice and not being fearful of it all because the Lord will guide us. Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. Exodus 4:12 I love that! We're currently out in a busy place, flying signs on the gospel van and getting ready to go out, Lord willing.
Hold fast to sound doctrine and remember the promises that lie ahead if we endure! Sister Aman Good day sister saints! There's a new sister sharing audio up and I talk about how I answered a woman's question as to why we should fear God.
You can go HERE and see the festival we were at. That lil boy knowing the Word of God:-) makes me think of... Mark 10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. I hope you mind is set on Christ, what He has done, the hope that lies before us and the works He has you doing unto Him. Let us rejoice in this day. Love in Christ, Sister Aman Good afternoon sister saints! I have a witnessing audio to share and at the end I share some thoughts on it. We were in a park, flying gospel signs all over the van and she stopped to ask what we were all about.
Let us rejoice to serve the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, handling His precious truth with care and love to all we give it to. Sister Aman Greetings in Christ to my sisters! I made an audio about a couple witnessing opportunities I had and thought they might encourage you. Strive on sister saints and hold fast to the truth! Sister Aman
