Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Good evening sister saints!
I was pondering this verse today while out on the streets preaching the gospel, (you can see that HERE). The greek meaning of the word 'perfect' is...
The crowd we preached the gospel to today consisted mostly of people my age and older. I was thanking the Lord for my physical age and my spiritual age, both of which help in being perfect / mature / complete (still growing and learning of course) and both give me a better standing to be helping others to come out of the darkness and into the light. I'm thankful for such blessings that can be unseen until you dig deep and look for them.
Let us all strive to 'be ye therefore perfect' so that we may honor and glorify the Lord, for He is worthy!!!
Love in Christ,
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus
