Good evening sister soldier saints! Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:14 I love that verse, even though the world has perverted it in their pagan Christ-mass celebration. I've been pondering peace lately. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 He gives us peace and we're not to let our heart be troubled neither let it be afraid. Peace can do that for you...wipe out all the troubles and fears and you can have that strong inner calm and cheerfulness (joy) with it, and also thankfulness and contentment, lol, I could be here all day listing so many things the Lord gives us as they all intertwine, but let's ponder peace. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Romans 12:18 "If possible". Those two words can cover a lot and I think brother Tupos is going to do an audio called 'peace without unity is possible'. I was thinking about this after he said he was going to do that audio...when we look at how all the countries in the world go along, there's usually (for the most part) 2 options. Peace or War. The countries that are at peace with one another, don't become one country, they retain who they are, where they are and what they are but they aren't at war with one another. It proves there can be peace without unity....so anyway I look forward to that audio. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Romans 12:19 That's one way of keeping peace. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord Hebrews 12:14 Let's follow peace, serving the Lord with all that we are sisters. I was looking through my old blog and came across these pictures. A few years ago, we were in Wyoming and it was a super hot, dry, smokey season and I saw this little sunflower growing in the crack of the sidewalk. A few weeks later we came back through and that little sunflower was still there and growing! Let that be all of us sisters, all around the world, where we're planted, growing and pressing on no matter what the circumstances. We're not circumstantial Christians, only growing when things are good, we continue to grow (even stronger) through the trials. And this one too....it was growing in the middle of a parking lot in the heat but the difference is, as we traveled back through the area soon after we saw it the first time, someone had chopped it down. If we don't have our armor on, that can happen to us saints too. Someone can chop us down, Satan can come after us, the world can make us weary etc. We need to be sure we have our armor on and press hard in after the Lord. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven Ecclesiastes 3:1 Let us sisters all stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and this... But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 Press on after Christ, forsaking all for Him, as He is worthy! Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11 Hold fast! Love in Christ, Sister Aman. Comments are closed.
