Greetings sister saints who love the Lord! I hope you are pressing through satan's kingdom and growing in the Lord! And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. Revelation 19:1-3 What a day that will be for those who truly are His born again saints, transformed from death to life, but very few there will be compared to the many that won't be. (Look at Noah and flood, Sodom and Gomorrah and all the battles in the old testament, then in Revelation see what happens in the end.) I've been pondering patience / endurance....and the lack of it in so many. It's amazing what people do when the light shines in the darkness, you see what's really in their hearts. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears 2 Timothy 4:3 People don't just heap up for themselves false teachers, they heap up others like themselves to feel better. Instead of walking in the spirit and taking time to watch, see and grow in matters, waiting upon the Lord to see what He will do in situations over time, they run to others who will justify their cause, but not in the truth, making their own way instead of letting God make the way. Much destruction comes of it all, instead of letting God work through everyone for His ways and purpose which might not be seen or understood at the time. That's what happens when man gets in his flesh and chooses His own ways. Walking in the flesh not only destroys our own walk, but can drastically affect the lives of others, not in a good way. Opportunities that might have come from a diligent, peaceful, patient life in the Lord, enduring and proving oneself, are now vanished, never to be had again. Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer Romans 12:12 Most people don't do that...be patient, endure and wait out the situation to see what will come of it, they rush to quickly satisfy and soothe their flesh when maybe God was trying them for something greater. This reveals the heart of man. One thing I've learned over the years is to let things play out and let God do what He does, enduring and patiently waiting. I can think of many situations that had I reacted in the flesh, I would have lost out on many great blessings. We see that happen to people all the time and it's sad but they have chosen to make their own way... There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 14:12 Keep reading... Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness. The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself. Proverbs 14:13-14 Be wise sisters and wait upon the Lord, be patient, endure and let Him do what He will do, not making our own way. Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
