Encouragement for Today (3/24/24)

Greetings sister saints!
Are you walking in the light today?

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord:
walk as children of light
Ephesians 5:8 

The only way we can be in or have the light is to be born from above by the holy spirit, into the kingdom of God, out of the kingdom of satan.  We lose this life here (in Satan's kingdom) forsaking and refusing all he offers...

And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Luke 4:3-8

Satan is still doing that to us today, tempting our flesh to try to get us back.  Trying to get us to turn from the Lord and come back to serve Him.  We have to guard ourselves carefully as it only takes a bit here and a bit there to get in your flesh over things (whether lusting after what the world offers or just following the flesh into feelings and emotions that it should not.)

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 
2 Corinthians 10:3-6 

We stood outside a Church of Christ today to preach the gospel, you can see that post HERE.   We put it up online also to expose their sins so that others can see and learn from to avoid the trappings of another flavor of man made religion, all for the purpose of glorifying God and maybe someone will repent.

Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
1 Timothy 5:20 

In this age of over 40,000 flavors of unbiblical man made religion, we have to do a lot of exposing and rebuking of their lies and then teaching and rebuilding foundations on the true GOSPEL of Christ, because without a right foundation, we will be washed away when the waves (trials and fiery darts from Satan) come. 

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Matthew 7:24-27 

Brother Tupos and I built our foundation / life on Christ and His Truth, solid doctrine and held to it no matter how hard people tried to push us off.  One of the biggest things I learned in the beginning was to not live after the flesh or feelings or emotions etc. What I want is strong sisters in the Lord who will stand boldly on the truth no matter who crumbles around them.  I'm going to continue to strive to be a godly, holy example, pressing forth, and being a light to those who might be coming along, not wavering or budging on the truth and maybe that will be a help to some of you out there.  

1 Peter 1:22 
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

I pray for all my sisters and have a fervent love for you all and will continue to press you on in truth and righteousness.
Hold fast and seek the kingdom of God as we don't know when it's our last day.  Are you ready?
