Encouragement for Today (3/28/24)

Good day sister saints!
We're praising the Lord for this day to serve Him.  

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. 
Revelation 1:7-8 

That will be utterly frightening for those who are outside of Christ.

Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;  And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power
2 Thessalonians 1:6-9 

He's not the soft, weak Christ that the churches portray Him as and we, as saints of God, see the importance of warning the masses by sharing the truth.  The GOSPEL that saves lives, that turns you from darkness to light, that puts you on the narrow road to eternal life and off the broad road to destruction that is coming when He returns. 

I hope all the saints (sisters and brothers) are pressing on each day, growing stronger and expanding in who they are in Christ to share that precious Truth with others as the time is coming closer for either His return or the death of the lost.  I love thinking about John the Baptist, making the way for Jesus.

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Saints today are similar in that we proclaim His second coming, warning those who don't love or obey the gospel as we just read in 2 Thessalonians.  Go read Ezekiel 33 about the watchman on the wall.  If we have the truth and we don't share it, there will be blood on our hands, I don't want that do you?  Why wouldn't we want to warn our neighbor?

We got up earlier and went to the marketplace to (go fishing) and use the wifi and got caught up on some witnessing posts (from the last couple days) that you can see HERE and HERE.  We're just doing our best to share the truth of this glorious Savior and hope some repent before it's too late.  Maybe that warning needs to be for you?  

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. 
​Psalm 139:23-24 

Let's all search our hearts, and not stop doing that lest we fall and be lead to the way of everlasting destruction and not everlasting life.

This afternoon we went to a park so the brothers could do some things on the vans and I did my things inside (cooked rice, pancakes for a treat,cleaned up, organized etc).  Looking forward to whatever the Lord has for us to do this weekend, we have a few things in mind but we leave it all up to Him and go one day at a time.  It's all His time anyway....I'm glad to redeem it back to Him after all the wickedness I did before.  Every year I walk in this faith life, I see more and more the power of our testimony from dark to light and how that helps us overcome the evil one.  It shows the power of God to transform a person from a wicked rebellious child of Satan that we all were, to become His child.  That's pretty awesome, something I certainly don't deserve so I very carefully walk in His ways no matter what anyone says about us or tries to tear us down (which happens daily in this ministry). He's to precious to trample His blood, let's lift Him up in all our ways!
