Encouragement for Today (3/4/24)

Good day sister saints!

Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord ; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. 
​Psalm 128:1-2 

I ponder how much quieter life was back then.  Today we have so much noise; music, tv, concerts, cars, planes, boats, trains, sports, fireworks, technology etc...it's noisy both physically and mentally.  We can't escape the physical noise, as it's their world and we are just travelers through it, but we can eliminate much mental noise through the power of God.  Technology is one of the leading mental noises I can think of (other than flesh that rears up at times) and Satan surely knows how to use it to get into and cause problems in the lives of saints.  Just an encouragement to you sisters, be very careful allowing Satan to use the internet to waste your time or open up spiritual doors to people and professed Christian bodies or ministries.  Focus on the Lord, make Him your portion and protect that peace and joy the Lord has given you.  Satan will not let up and he will try every single tactic to stumble you, waste your time, distract and confound you so be sure to shut and lock doors to anything that does not show true fruit of the Lord.  

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 7:16-20 

He tells us we 'shall' know people by their fruits.  That's a promise, it's something we can count on, it's something we can use to test others and protect ourselves from being stumbled, distracted, confounded, deceived etc. Think about that, you see a tree with apples and you know what it is. Same with an orange tree or pear tree.  We don't have to talk ourselves into it, we 'see' it and call it what it is.  Let's use that same thing for testing others fruits and be confident in the Lord's promise that we will 'know' them by their fruits.  Confusion (ongoing) is NOT of God, remember that. Be careful as the culture progress into more and more technology that you don't open that door and allow Satan to come in and destroy.  Use it wisely and carefully to the glory of the Lord!  

For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee
Proverbs 2:6-11 

We sister saints have such great promises of wisdom and knowledge, if we hold fast to the truth and follow hard after Christ.  We have all we need to press through the spiritual battles that rage on, let us go forth, in His name, bringing Him glory and honor as we endure until the end.
