Godly greetings to my sisters who love the Lord Jesus! He gave us another day and only He knows what will be involved in it all, we just have to walk it all out the best we can for Him. I was pondering this, this morning... That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Hebrews 6:18-20 I love that, it's impossible for God to lie! And yes what a great consolation that if we truly are born of the Holy Spirit, we have a great hope day before us! (Test yourself to the gospel HERE.) But we know, on the other hand, it's almost impossible for man not to lie as he is far from being like a perfect God (in many ways), therefore we put our full trust in him and not man. Of course the indwelling of the Holy Spirit gives mankind the strength to overcome, but there's always that battle of the flesh. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 And going back to the verse above, Christ who is our High Priest, is the one who made it possible for us to have that great hope. Every day, remind yourself why you are who you are, because of Christ and what HE did. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 There aren't many days that go by, that I don't remember who I used to be and who I am now because of Him. That's the power of our testimony, of when we were born from above and the difference in us between darkness and light. It reminds us why we do what we do and if we fall (which we will at times), He is our intercessor and helps us get back up and go again, through His grace and strength and power. What an awesome Savior!!!!! My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:1-2 Looking back at such things, to rejoice going forward is good because it glorifies the Lord. Speaking of which, we went through a town that we stood out flying Gospel signs a couple years ago. Here's a pic from back then. (Light standing in the midst of darkness; Christ-mass is pagan, go HERE read about it.) Gospel cards went out along our trip through this time also. What a blessing to be able to be a light for the Lord, Amen sisters? Shine that precious light you were given by the Lord in whatever you do for Him! We're working our way to a preach this weekend, Lord willing and have another day of travel, through beautiful countryside, see the video below and the sunset the Lord allowed us to see. What are you doing tomorrow? Whatever it is, do it with a pure heart, in love and thankfulness of the Lord. I'll be praying for you out there to hold fast, seek the kingdom of God and don't let anyone or anything stop you! Love to you all, in Christ, Sister Aman Comments are closed.
