Good day sister saints! Praise God for this day to serve Him and not be serving satan any longer amen? Today we began another leg of our journey in this life, leaving behind more and pressing on into whatever the Lord has for us. All us sister saints are doing that, daily, pressing on into what we don't know is ahead of us but we trust in the Lord to guide us. Thank you sister for sharing that scripture picture! It says 'faith unfeigned' in there...that's pretty big. Out here on the streets we see a lot of feigned faith, meaning they say it (lip service) but don't mean it because there's very little to no reflection of a transformed life. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:22 Many people are deceiving themselves with easy believe-ism and we sisters, can be a shining light of truth to help them see through their deception. Be ready to share the GOSPEL sisters, it's what changes lives. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 I love His Word, it cuts where it needs to and makes a person become who He wants them to be....if they have the willing heart to repent and surrender their life to Him. Sadly that's only going to be few, but we were warned about that weren't we, so it shouldn't be a surprise and we shouldn't marvel. Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. 1 John 3:13 We sisters can rejoice with the few who are His and encourage one another to strive on, enduring through this life for our Master who made the way before us! We saw that sign on our travels.... "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6" I hope the people who put that sign up come through Jesus and not man made religion, which is deceiving people. We see a lot of such signs along our journeys but not many who take them seriously. Let us be a good example of walking in His ways sisters, don't let anyone sway you from the truth. We see a lot of clothes being dried on the line also, lol, I love that and I appreciate my sisters sharing such good Titus 2 works that go on cuz it means that the one doing them is doing good works unto the Lord not bad ones unto satan. Speaking of Titus 2 works, I have been doing some hand sewing (living in a van means you hand sew cuz who has room for a sewing machine?) on some curtains and here is a project I hope to finish some time soon. I found a couple shirts at a thrift store and the sleeves were way too short so I cut sleeves off some junk shirts and plan to modify them and see if I can sew them on to make them longer. Or something. Lol let's see about that! I'm not the best sewer but I get along okay, however I do know a sister who sews very well and offers all kinds of skirts and has lately been offering shirts as well. Check our her Etsy site by clicking the picture below. It's funny but as I'm typing this, I got a message from the sister who sews, asking how my post is going so I sent her what I was doing. I'm so thankful for messaging because we can share so much of our lives and encouragement with one another through the days. (Let me know if I can be an encouragement to you also.) I'm sure the internet will be a tool used against the Christians (already is) but we can use it for God's glory for the time being. I'll worry about all that when it gets here and we have enough troubles in this day to be worrying about whats coming because we might not even get it. I had a satisfying Titus 2 duty the other day after brother James installed a new hand wash station. We were at a park and they had a water bubbler so I was filling on little cup at a time and dumping it into a bigger container, then carrying it over to the van to fill the tank. Half way through I thought to go see if they have a sink that ran faster and they did! One cup at a time and it was full. Same goes for each of our days. One day at a time, serving the Lord and our life will be full of days that were given to Him in good works. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the Lord, to serve other gods Joshua 24:15-16 You might appreciate a project I just did. I had some drawers that you could see through and I wanted to cover them up so this is what I did! It brings me great joy to see those scriptures every day instead of a jumble of things through the plastic. It's been cooler weather so I've been making more soups. Creamy ones, yum what blessings to have healthy foods to cook. Brother James likes to have a sandwich with his soup lol maybe one that size would last a long time! Pickled okra and some kombucha would be good with it too! (We found them at the dent bent grocery, nice rare healthy treat blessings.) I'd share it all with you if I could. After dinner I'd serve some decaf coffee in a scripture mug (I have a set minus one that was gifted to a sister who was injured) and a treat (another dent bent find). Sister saints doing what God created them to do and being who God created them to be. Maybe you might be interested in seeing some of God's fall color in His creation. You can see it on my instagram post HERE. Below you can see some pictures a sister shared with me, knowing that I really appreciate the Gerbera flowers. I told her they remind me of us godly women. Strong and bold on the word. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Ephesians 6:10 Glory to God for His creation. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good Psalm 14:1 I have to go now sisters. I hope this brought some edification to you, some smiles and warmth in your heart knowing other sisters are striving in His truth and His glory is being shown in a dark world. I'm here to encourage you in the ways of a godly woman. Hold fast sister soldier saints.
