Good morning sister saints! As I type this I'm sitting on the bed in our van home which is on the edge of the parking lot in which we stayed last night and I can hear the birds singing with our van door open and the sun shining in. We're working online ministry this morning before we head back to the land for a few days and then back on the road. I wanted to share this story with you because it might strengthen you who might be going through (or may end up going through) the same sort of situation. Brother James asked me if I wanted a picture and I told him that I did some children's posts with a bird and a deer and so he drew me the picture above. He sent it to my phone and when I looked at it smiled thanked him and then the tears came. I looked at the little girl and thought of my 2 little granddaughters that had just recently been taken away from any contact with us, through the wickedness of my daughter who I never thought would do what she did. I quickly worked hard to stop the tears and get my mind back on doing the works of the Lord and I refuse to let satan and his tricks, stumble me, regardless of who it's coming through. I told brother James that our Savior paid more of a price than I ever will and it's all our reasonable service. He agreed and said 'It's not over yet, there's still hope for them.' I agreed and then immediately got back to work uploading some scripture readings to the audio bible area here and thought I would share this all with you sisters. We can't sit in our grief and lament over such things, we must keep going forward lest we not be fit for the kingdom of God. I want to be doing His good works and I find that doing so helps me get through such times. There's always something to do for the Lord and when we come across situations that are painful, doing His works helps pull us through as we are focused on Him and not the sad situations. He is a mighty Saviour one of the light and will lead us out of such dark places. I leave you with one of my favorite verses... These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 Praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy and peace that He gives those who follow after Him.
I hope you have a joyous day! Love in Christ, Sister Deb Comments are closed.
